At 5413 feet of altitude, the Des Alpes offers 15 carefully furnished rooms with views of San Bernardo Valley. We were welcomed very friendly although we arrived a bit late. We even could still get dinner. We had a lot of fun and our stay was perfect. A very nice family run hotel with the nicest people offering a very good and honest service. The location is beautiful and just after the St Bernard tunnel. For us this will be a favourite stop from now on.
Located in Saint-Rhémy-en-bosses, 14 miles from Aosta, La Maison de Clémence provides a garden and free WiFi. Absolutely everything about this place is magical! The host is the most welcoming, friendly and kind person ever. She personally drove us to the best hiking trail nearby, checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was ok and was always available with information and helpful tips. The apartment was spacious, mountain style and equipped with all amenities. The kitchen had everything you would need for home-cooked meals and even some cutleries for children. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning with mountains and the sound of the river plays like music. The garden next to the house was made available to us which had shades and tables and chairs and is perfect for having lunch or a just sitting around and taking the surrounding view in. We will be coming back here as soon as we get the chance!
I was with my two sons on a trip around the Combins. We stayed in Hotel Des Alpes where it is good to stay!
Nice to walk around the old part of the village between typical houses.. with balconies with flowers. Lots of people for photography enthusiasts. The Great St. Bernard Pass is easily reached by your own transport and by bus.
Very friendly and friendly people. What is less attractive are the streets of the villages. My wife and I usually eat where we hike, normally local cuisine. We like to visit the cities we have never stayed in.
The village is small and very nice, but has only a small supermarket and a bar that had just opened the day we were there.
E' LOVELY COUNTRY. THERE ARE VERY VERY SIMPLE BAR'S AND A FEW RESTAURANTS. THE BEST IS BEAU SEJOUR, NICE! DIVINALLY MISSED, ALSO FOR "CELIACI "
The place is very nice, the ski station is close to home, about 3km.unique flaw; You have to take the car to go to the supermarket....baker...bar...
Up a winding road out of Saint-Rhemy, rather isolated. Beautiful views across the valley- mountains and waterfalls. Quite dated inside but clean and reasonably comfortable. The atmosphere was a bit odd as we were the only guests but that couldn't be helped. Breakfast was good, dinner was a bit pricey for what it was- reheated dishes.
Fantastic place with a super friendly host. A family run hotel. Extremely cosy environment. Nice spacious rooms and a great restaurant. We got some really nice and special craft beers from the region. Awesome value for money.
