Set in the Dolomiti Superski area, Ciasa Roby is only 820 feet away from San Cassiano’s center. It features a rich breakfast, free Wi-Fi in public areas, and free bikes. I have enjoyed a wonderful two nights stay at Ciasa Roby! Everything from arrival until departure was simply great. Great people, great room, great views, wonderful breakfast and, again, great people!

Loved Hotel Fanes booked a loft as was a special holiday for us just fabulous. The hotel is full of great staff especially Alessandro & Olisimo in the restaurant. We really enjoyed the saunas & the pools. The food is delicious & so well presented & prepared. Drank so much delicious Italian wine from the very extensive list.

Lüch Da Pćëi

Hotel in San Cassiano

A traditional mountain Maso chalet set in San Cassiano, Lüch Da Pćëi offers free parking and spacious accommodations with balcony. The property produces its own milk, cheese and yogurt. I was given a room upgrade to the front of the hotel and the view from the balcony was stunning. The room was large and tastefully furnished in mountain style. It was all good quality. The breakfasts were excellent with a lot of local produce including milk, cheese and yoghurts from the owners' farm. The hotel is a few minutes out of the centre of the attractive village and quite a climb to get back up. It is an excellent base for walks of varying difficulty, many of which can be started from the hotel.

Hotel Ciasa Salares

Hotel in San Cassiano

Surrounded by the scenery of the Dolomites, Hotel Ciasa Salares features a wellness center with fitness facilities and an indoor pool. It also offers a sun terrace. It was just great. The food, the front desk staff the waiters at the many meals we had there (especially Domenico!) The room was lovely, the beds comfy. It is quiet and just the right distance from town, the ski lift across the street and the cross county about 1 K away. The pool area, sauna and steam all great. We had a wonderful stay. Book the 2 star restaurant ahead because when you get there is might be full. (Happened to us) But all the other restaurants are delicious (and we tried them all!) And if you like chocolate (we are addicted) you have to go to the chocolate room! I am gluten free and my niece who was with us can't eat lactose. That is usually very sad when we can't eat so many of the good things. But the staff made us special treats!

Hotel Tofana

Hotel in San Cassiano

Located in San Cassiano, a 6-minute walk from Ciampai, Hotel Tofana has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. I stayed for 6 nights in March 2018 with my teenage son. Everything was perfect. The hotel arranged for a ski guide, the lift is an easy 5 minute walk (no waiting for shuttles), the breakfast buffet (with made to order omelets, waffles) is extensive with fresh fruits and local cheeses, and the dinners are very good with great variety and choices from a set menu. One night featured all local Ladin cuisine. The hotel has been owned by the same family for many years. The couple managing the hotel now (part of the same family) are very personable, remembering where the guests are from, hosting free cocktail parties once a week, showing guests a video of the rebuilding of the hotel a year ago (the hotel has won numerous architectural awards), and offering excellent advice on the best ski runs, slopes, etc. All of the staff were very polite and seemed genuinely happy to help. The views from both the roof hot tub and the saunas should not be missed. Our room was very clean and roomy with more than enough storage for regular and ski clothes. The bathroom especially was very spacious for Europe with more counter space than most European hotels.

Hotel Steinrösl

Hotel in San Cassiano

Set 984 feet from the Piz Sorega ski elevators, Hotel Steinrösl offers a garden equipped with tables and sun loungers. I stayed for a week for a biking trip and it was honestly perfect for me as a solo traveler. The room I stayed in had a conveniently shaped sink to hand wash my clothes and a balcony with a clothing rack to dry it. They also had specific ice bags for injuries as it is a common request around ski season..I needed it for my knees, heh. The breakfast array and the excellent 4 course dinner of their local cuisine! I loved the high quality food provided. Every night was something new and I looked forward to my evenings there. I think had I eaten out, I wouldn't have been able to taste so many lovely options. Responsiveness: another reason why I chose then was for how quickly they answered my questions via email. Whether our was about my bike or providing umbrellas, I normally got an answer within a day. And, they even followed up with me 2 weeks after I asked about shipping my bike. I felt very comfortable asking for their help and they did their best to accomodations my needs. Location was optimal for me as I mainly used public transit and waking to get around 5 min walking to: - Bus stop to either hiking trails or nearby towns - Mini market - Pharmacy - Bakery, Cafe, souvenir shops - bike shop to buy fuel for the road All great and I would book again here in their website next time I visit! It was an excellent, family-run establishment for a hotel! Thank you so much for your lovely hospitality and see you next time!
