The pool is wonderfully integrated in the garden with many olive and palm trees. Also a perfect place to bring your dog, as they are very welcomed and have a lot of space to run and play. San Vito itself is not what you've come to see, although it does have a run-down charm and the people are very friendly with excellent value cafes etc It's location is near the airport and is a short drive to many towns that you simply must pay a visit to. You really do need a car and I would advise to get a small one! and take out an excess cover policy before you go!

We did not explore the town of San Vito dei Normanni. The villa was purely a base to explore other locations. The ss16 road leads to Brindisi where there is a dual carriageway to explore the north and south of the region.

Trullo La Corte Del Mandorlo is exceptional.
Trullo La Corte Del Mandorlo is exceptional. The place was very clean and full with all the amenities one needs for a proper vacation. the area is very quiet. We were 2 families with 4 kids, they really enjoyed it. The location is great for visiting both North and South of Puglia. I recommend Corte del Mandorlo.

San Vito is a great place to visit.
San Vito is a great place to visit. A small town close to Brindisi and to the most wonderful North Salento beaches. Ostuni, which is known as the White city, and Torre Guaceto, which is the biggest Salento natural reserve, are just 15 minutes by car. In the evening you can go to live in Ostuni movies or to have a dinner in one of the 3 Michelin star restaurant nearby San Vito.

The setting is beautiful but remote. Not accessible by public transport, need a car. We used as base to explore surrounding area south to Santa Maria de Leucca, Lecce, Alberobello (Trulli region). The hotel pool is lovely. Food all freshly prepared, lots of vegetable dishes. Evening meal is set menu, need to pre book. Not near any other eateries so if you want to dine out its several km drive to nearest town.

The hosts, Monica and Valentino went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely quiet area so very peaceful and they serve a great breakfast. We were a disappointed we only had one night there, I would highly recommend! (as a tip - You do need a car to explore this area)

San Vito dei Normanni is a great spot to access the wonderful small towns around it: Ostuni, Martina Franca, Ceglie, Locorotondo and it is also very close to the beaches on the Adriatic Sea.
