We liked especially the friendliness of the people we met. We also enjoyed the tranquility and the sounds of a tiny village -- occasional church bells, occasional rooster, the buffalo mozzarella truck, the marching band practicing for the festival, the very reasonable restaurant with friendly owner. We liked attending Mass at the church and exploring the old core of the village on foot. We enjoyed the residents playing a traditional street game. We liked that we could go to the beach, although it was a very winding road down and back up again. Having found relatives as we sought out to do, we hope we will be able to go back again. We will stay at the same B and B LaVigna, a home away from home.
