An older style ground floor apartment, including a washing machine and drying rack which as very much appreciated. No stairs to lug heavy suitcases up, close to train station and small cafe. Hosts were lovely ( owner’s parents) who lived upstairs.

We booked on the way, as we saw we cannot make it further and we also saw that there is a very good pizza restaurant next to the property. We highly recommend to visit the restaurant, the pizza was amazing. Hosts are super friendly, everything goes smoothly. There is breakfast organised in the place opposite the building, with nice croissants and coffee.

Out of season (January) we had this entire enormous hotel entirely to ourselves! The owners were lovely, the decor wonderful (unusual), the room was vast. No restaurant available but directions to a good one a couple of kilometres away served fine.

What an amazing place and superb value for money. A little difficult to locate st night but get the longitude and latitude coordinates and its easy. The owner, Franco, is a lovely guy, very friendly and helpful. Very quiet place and good size bedroom, all in all great.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Corallo. It’s a simple three-star hotel, but everything was really nice. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They also offered dinner at a very fair price — and it was absolutely excellent! Breakfast was good as well, and I slept very well during my stay. Overall, a great experience and very good value for money.

Everything! It is a new B&B, very comfortable, walking distance to centre of village Villapiana and beach. Safe and free parking is on property and the host Lucia was super friendly advising on excellent restaurants plus providing a typical delicious Italian breakfast.

Modern day Sibari is a tiny hamlet, with nothing of interest...

Modern day Sibari is a tiny hamlet, with nothing of interest. There is only one dinner option (a pizzeria) but that was closed during my stay. There is no local public transport. The only reason to visit the place would be the archaeological park. The excavations, and the museum, are still in progress but they are already quite spectacular. However, note that you cannot visit these without a car.

You come to Sibari either for the beach (which is great in...

You come to Sibari either for the beach (which is great in April, clean and you're all alone) or for the archeology museum and the excavation sites. To my frustration, the museum and the sites were closed the day I was there because the day before was a public holiday, and they didn't write that on their official homepage. So I wasted staying two nights in a place that is absolutely not worth staying at.
