Really friendly staff, great location on the lakeside with beach (and its own wonderful private swimming pool), brilliant restaurant serving top quality food. Lovely breakfast which was very good value. The room was a fair size , very clean and with excellent facilities (shower etc). Rooms on the lake side are much quieter and have the best views. Easy 1km walk to the village with its restaurants and supermarket. Dog friendly (there is even a dedicated beach next to the hotel for dogs !). Lovely walks in the hills and around the lake.

The hotel is right by the lake and has a beautiful view. We ended up staying in 2 different rooms because we stayed an extra night. We had a triple room and a lake view room. They were both really lovely and very reasonably priced for the location. The staff were really helpful moving our luggage from one room to the other. I can absolutely recommend the hotel. It doesn’t have parking, but there is plenty of parking nearby. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was again very reasonably priced.
