The garden is a wonderful, peaceful place. The fact that you can park the car inside is perfect as my car was rented. The area is not ideal for tourism, but close to the “Circumvesuviana” that takes you to Sorrento if you don’t want to use the car. Giovanna is a perfect host, she speaks excellent English as she is a teacher. Being winter I was concerned about the temperature in the room, but the temperature was perfect and for summer the air conditioning unit is in the room, so now thinking about going back in summer.

An outstanding and exclusive property just next to the old Pompeii walls. This makes it a very quite place. Note however the entrance is on the other side of the old city so you need to walk 20 min to get there. It has a very good restaurant with refined wines and cuisine with a touch. The hotel grounds are expensive and I guess in the wormier season it will be great to spend the afternoon at their pool. That was open even during our stay but the weather was chilly. They were also very kind to book for us a very knowledgeable guide for Pompeii.

We have arrived half an hour earlier than we should have, but we were allowed to check-in. The hotel is very close to Pompei train station, but at the same time it doesn't have noise from the trains - you don't hear them at all. Hotel is located very close to the ancient city of Pompei. At 23:00 I had to print one paper urgently and the employee of the hotel was very helpful. Breakfast was good.
