The hotel right on the water provided everything. A quite secluded beach, a beautiful infinity pool, 2 ocean accesses, a nature walk to hidden lounge chairs and cliff views, work out rooms and programs, bars, restaurants and a self serve breakfast that left nothing to be desired. The provided shuttle to the town center was priceless as the walk up the hill would have created a challenge. Though walking up to it would have replaced the need to use their work out facility which had it all. Staff was very helpful and rooms were clean, comfortable and provided all we needed, especially the in room espresso and terrace.

The most friendly and professional host I've ever met who helped us get a room upgrade, gave us welcome drinks and snacks, and gave good recommendations for things to do. The sea view room had amazing views and big windows. The breakfast was really good. You can chill at the pool even after you check out.

This property is staffed by a family who are there when the sun comes up to well into the evening. Their drive to make our stay pleasurable is off the charts. the front desk attendant, Roberta, was like a concierge, helping us with things to do, but also parking our car and always had a smile on her face. We were not be staying anywhere else, but here when we travel back to Sicily. Best bang for the buck you can find.

But wait, there's more. Surrounded by trees just below the main town, the largely intact Greek Theater has amazing views across the stage towards Mount Etna fuming away in the distance. Great summer performances are still held here, and several of the town’s bars feature live music.
Corso Umberto I runs through the heart of Taormina, from Piazza Corvaja to the 13th-century cathedral, and houses many shops and cafés. Midway along is Piazza IX Aprile, with a clock tower and church overlooked by a rocky hill topped with a castle.
A cable car runs from the town down to the beautiful Taormina beaches (where the train station is also found). At the center of the W-shaped bay is little Isola Bella, an island nature reserve. It was easy to get buses or trains so we could go on tours...
It was easy to get buses or trains so we could go on tours outside Taormina.it is a beautiful place. The food was lovely and it was very sunny while we were there. Swimming in the sea was a real highlight and the Godfather tour was brilliant. The tour guide Andrea was fantastic - very funny and knowledgeable. The wine tasting tour was also excellent, really well done, with delicious food provided. Syracusa was a disappointment, quite dull and urban. You would never think it had a coastline because you couldn't get near the sea front it was so built up. It was very congested in Taormina, the town was bustling with tourists all day long, but it was easy to navigate and we really liked it.

We all know Taormina is special, but don’t just come here...
We all know Taormina is special, but don’t just come here for the Greek theatre. Take time to explore the town, its narrow lanes, hidden shops, Ristoranti and bars away from the tourist stream, and don’t miss a stroll in the beautiful public garden before dinner. Best to arrive late afternoon and stay overnight. This way you avoid the masses of private visitors and dozens of tours that cramp the town every day. It means you actually see and can enjoy the sights and afterwards you can soak in the real Taormina, once everyone has left for the day. Heading up to the castle first thing in the morning when you wake up is extra special. And it’s still very quiet and not too hot. The views are stunning!

Very crowded.
Very crowded. Lots of restaurants and high end boutiques along with small stores with small gift items. I was impressed with colored large potteries all over the place. Beach is only about 10 minutes funicular ride from Taormina.
The Staff make it.

I was very surprised
This is an underrated find for sure.
It’s in a fabulous location, on the beach overlooking Isola Bella. The steps up to Taormina start right outside the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent and although we didn’t have dinner at the hotel, there are plenty of very good restaurants nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.
We were very unlucky with the weather during our stay… very little sun and plenty of rain. not sure how common that is in early May but the hotel helped us make the best of it.
Highly recommended.
The hotel was amazing. The views from the rooftop terrace are incredible, which was amazing during breakfast each day. The room was comfortable and clean, very nice. The location is fantastic too, right in the centre of Taormina but just far enough away from the crowds. The beach club was also great, only 20 minutes on the shuttle bus to get there and it was fantastic. I'd definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend.
Excellent hotel location by the sea with room and balcony view out over the bay towards Italy in very distance.
Breakfast and dinner were great with plenty of choice and efficient and friendly staff service.
Reception friendly - organising taxis into Taormina.
Private beach with all facilities - beds, umbrellas, towels, life guards.
Expensive but worth it to relax and feel pampered!!
The hotel is well located and Taormina is beautiful but I wouldn't stay here again. There is a shuttle service to a sister hotel with a lido on the beach which is very useful.
