Beautiful place!
Beautiful place! It is more pricey than other spots in Sicily but it’s certainly worth it. I wish I had more days to explore the surrounding towns - but I’ll be back. You’d need more than a weekend to explore this old town!

Taormina is beautiful it is the best of both worlds with seaside and high end shopping, restaurants etc. Best of all you have a cable car to escort you to both.
Just bear in mind there are many steps down to the sea and beaches are pebbled. You will need good water shoes. If you are physically challenged allow for more time getting to destinations including your apartment or hotel door because everything is built into the mountainside.

Taormina is a very old charming town high up on a hill. If you stay up in the town it is busy, and crowded in the summer. The views are spectacular and there are lots of cute restaurants with great views. The food is fantastic, gelato, granita, arancini etc.
You can take the Faniculare up to the town and down the hill but it is often not working because of high winds or other weather. Beautiful Churches! Lots of seaside beach clubs. Worth the trip.

When we visited, the city was very crowded, but we still found some great restaurants and enjoyed the beautiful views. I’d love to come back when it’s less busy. The beaches were also fantastic—really a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful town, the lifestyle is laidback and the city itself is absolutely beautiful! There is something for everyone, whether it is a picturesque photoshoot, a delicious meal or a taste of culture! One of my favourite stops on Italy/Sicily.
An absolutely incredible hotel. Perfect location, away from the main hustle and bustle of Taormina centre but not super far out. Easily walkable (albeit up a hill!) although the hotel offers a free shuttle every evening (just book in advance). The bedrooms were beautiful and so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and so much choice. Also loved the late night bar, the cocktail menu was fabulous! Overall a brilliant experience, would definitely come back!
Amazing view from the room and in general from the hotel terraces, not sure if all rooms have a view to the ocean but mine did and truly it was incredible. The installations are great they feel like a higher star ranked hotel, the attention from staff is very good and the breakfast is the best i had in my trip to Italy. Considering the price for everything in Taormina i consider this hotel as a great cost-benefit option
Hotel was in a good location, not far from the centre of Taormina, so easy access to most of the attractions in the area. We had a lovely view of the sea from our room and the room was clean and well kept. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided us some great recommendations for places to eat, they spoke good English, which made it very easy for us.
Great location with complementary access to the lido on the beach and beach beds! Warm and helpful staff and a large spacious room. The icing on the cake was the free shuttle to Taormina city centre and back with a lot of flexibility in timings throughoit the day. The swimming pool and the restaurant was lovely too.
the location was perfect. A nice easy walk to the centre of Taormina and the shops, restaurants and bars. The most amazing view from our sea view room and public areas of the hotel such as pool, breakfast room and drinks terrace. Room was typically Italian, basic but clean. Lovely cleaning staff for our room.
