The beautiful location, right on the lake. Breakfast and the evening food were both great - and came with an excellent view of the lake. Exceptional service from the staff too - especially Yara. She was so helpful, so knowledgeable and so friendly. She really made us feel welcome, comfortable and well looked after. Great job.

The breakfast is rich, the fruit is fresh, and the food is delicious. I must praise it! The front desk waiter is warm and polite, and communication is barrier-free. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and the scenery is beautiful.

The accommodation is located in an excellent location, you could travel to the north or the south of the lake from there. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, waking up to that view alone is worth it. The walk up to Madonna Di Montecastello from the hotel is also a good one. We had a great time staying at the hotel. The staff are so helpful, the restaurant is also very good and staff are friendly. The apartment we stayed in is very clean and the rooms were refurbished, it’s really nice. I would recommend staying there if you don’t mind driving around the area, you would need a car if you want to explore the surrounding areas though.

The place is suitable for those who want a peaceful holiday...

The place is suitable for those who want a peaceful holiday with beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. Unfortunately, it’s not very practical if you’re looking for an active holiday. Getting around is complicated by the 20-minute drive up winding roads from the main road and also by the heavy traffic on the main road around the lake. Since we often went on trips to the mountains, next time we would choose accommodation in Riva or near Lago di Tenno.

A small town located in the hilly area, some 550 meters...

A small town located in the hilly area, some 550 meters above the sea level, a nice play to spend evening or sleep without the need for air conditioning. Lago di Garda beaches are between 20 and 30 minutes away. Has several good restaurants, and if I need to to recommend one it would be Bottega del Gusto.3. Lots of footpaths in the area, some are for hiking, some, along the main roads with great scenery. Also, plenty of places to see.

Friendly Staff, great food and wine, superb view, a peaceful location. Driving from Verona was fairly easy but allow time at weekends for groups of sports cyclists ! The indoor pool ( 0800-1900 ) was a good temperature and though the steam room was a bit under-powered the sauna was great..they open 1500-1900. A room kettle or coffee-maker would be nice.

lovely hosts Maria and Mariella and amazing breakfasts and very clean rooms, nestled by the lake edge with lovely seating area overlooking the lake.You would ideally need a car to get to this place and to get around, but there are buses.

Tignale is located in a strategic position.

Tignale is located in a strategic position. From up high you get the opportunity to see Lake Garda from a different perspective. A great starting point from which to visit other beauty spots like Limone, Riva del Garda, Arco etc. We'll be back!

- Great balcony and even better view to the Lago di Garda – spectacular. Nice, quiet and pleasant evenings even during the heatwave. - The altitude is 700 meters above sea level which means that even during heatwaves it was a very pleasant place to be. Note that the center of Tignale is about 570 meters above sea level, which makes a walking trip to it pretty good exercise. - Lots of footpaths around the location. - Swimming pool. - Apartment was just about the right size.

The property was really beautiful, the view from the balcony breathtaking. It is in a very remote place, so it is good if you want to rest. There is free parking beside the hotel and pool but that is not on the property and neither is the restaurant. You need to walk some uphill to reach the latter two facilities. It is good for people with families and kids if you wish to just take time out and relax, not really leave the premises.

We used this property for two nights due to the bad weather (we were on bikes). This apartment had the most incredible views - we sat on the terrace all day watching the weather come in. The service was fantastic. The breakfast delivered to the room delicious. There was a garage for the bikes. We didn’t get to use the pool sadly but would happily use this hotel again. Short walk to the town for drinks and food.
