The design of the room was beautiful. I loved the ceramic tiles, the antique furniture, curtains, mirrors, arm chairs and good lighting. The terrace was very large, in addition to the tables and lounge chairs downstairs at the pool. Having a fridge was nice. We discovered a great Tavola Calda in the nearby town that had roast chicken, eggplant, red peppers. This food was artesanal and the best food during our 12 day road tour. We enjoyed eating outdoors by the pool. It was nice to be the only guests, as it felt quiet and private. Host sent us a link for the position on GoogleMaps but we were led to the other side of the mountain. But this was not the first time that Google Maps led us astray!

Great setting, pool was fabulous with relaxing garden, we were upgraded to a room with a safe.15 minute walk to the centre of town where there are many restaurants, People tend to eat late around 8.30-9pm lots of activity. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The Hotel Antiche Terme is a quiet, charming, smaller, well equipped hotel situated on the Calore River, with excellent views of the countryside while being central to the historic district. My room was very large, with ten-foot ceiings and brand new wood floors. My bed was the way I like it, firm with a little bit of cushion. My room had a desk, a minibar, and plenty of lighting. Smart TV. My balcony view was of the river and a beautiful bridge, the city and the countryside. If you like a great views, make sure you book it with the river view. The bathroom is very nice, with an awesome shower. Good wifi. Garbriele is an excellent host and manager, his staff did a wonderful job cleaning my room daily. He was very helpful with local information. Breakfast offers all the coffees and baked goods you can hope for. It is easy to walk all around the old section of Benevento from the hotel, as you are near all of the great sites. Benevento is a true gem, and the Hotel Antiche Terme is part of that, situated as it is on top of an ancient Roman bath complex. I will stay here again.
