United KingdomAlfredo and his team took such wonderful care of us, even though we were only there for one night. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Dinner was lovely and Emiliano our waiter was super-attentive. The room was newly re-furbished and perfect for our needs. We would happily visit again.

A mix of everything - great shopping, restaurants and...
A mix of everything - great shopping, restaurants and culture - quick drive to lovely sand beaches or you can drive further to experience other beaches. In between Pescara and Termoli if you want to see other towns. Can also drive into the countryside quickly if you want to visit olive oil production or wineries.

Vasto is a great little beach town, with a nice mix of an interesting historical town center and a thriving beach marina. The environment does seem best for families or retirees, not a lot of thriving night life or anything like that, but if you're looking for a quiet few days in a nice beach town then I definitely recommend it

The weather was not on our side and the end of season meant that many of the local businesses were closed or had minimal manning. That said, we had a lovely time exploring and moving between the sea and mountain villages.
Would definitely come back but earlier in the year next time.

We went to a local canteen-like-restaurant by the marina, where all the locals go. I had lasagne which turned out to be fish and prawn. I was surprised but it was gorgeous. They served it cold, but you can ask them to heat it up (we found out afterwards).
We were staying in Vasto town but arrived by train and mistakenly got off 2 stops further along. There are several versions of Vasto.... but we were able to get a bus to the marina... eat.. and then we got the bus again to Vasto town as it was uphill, it was hot, and we had luggage.

We loved that it was vibrant and had the authentic Italian...
We loved that it was vibrant and had the authentic Italian experience as compared to some of the larger cities which are more touristy. The food was fabulous, fresh and reasonably priced at the local restaurants!
The local architecture, cultural events and variety of shops along with the beaches made it a true hidden gem of the Adriatic!

Vasto far exceeded my expectations. It is simply beautiful. It is very much alive. YouTube walking tours depict a nice place. But, they did not capture the sparkle and energy that I felt on my many passeggiata s.

Perfect location in Vasto for exploring the old town, just two mins on food from Centro Storico. Spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a perfect stay. Even a welcome bowl of fruit, bottled water and snacks. Although we didn’t meet the owners, the communication was perfect & we quick to respond on WhatsApp with anything we needed. Just a side note that the old town of Vasto is 150m above sea level so we used our car when going to Vasto Marina. It would be a tough walk, especially on the way back!!

Loved the location most. On the top of a cliff overlooking the sea and the entire south coast of Vasto city. So very beautiful. The property is historic, gated and impressively renovated. It is at least a four star property.

This a very nice hotel in Vasto! All interiors -lobby, hallways, our room were in excellent stay!
We came by bicycles and the hotel provided us with a place to park them.
