The apartment that I stayed in was refurbished and taken care of with love. It was clean and spacious with a lovely balcony looking out on the fields beyond the city limits. The kitchen is comfortable and well-equipped. It is very enjoyable to cook there. The host is always available if you need help. I definitely would have stayed longer if the itinerary allowed it.

Located in Venosa, within 16 miles of Castle of Melfi, Il Belvedere Aragonese offers accommodations with free WiFi and air conditioning. We were very pleased with our stay at the "Il Belvedere Aragonese" studio apartment. Not only was the apartment conveniently located and benefiting from a great view of the castle but it was also comfortable and functional It would not matter in July but in late March we were delighted that the apartment benefits from central heating which includes, fortunately a large radiator in the bathroom. The kitchen was properly equipped and conveniently arranged. On the whole the apartment is simply but attractively furnished and decorated. The apartment was spotless and tidy when we arrived. Our host, Maria Rosario, was very helpful, and the check-in and check-out were easy. Maria Rosario very kindly made available breakfast essentials including coffee, yogurt, milk, jam and individual cakes. Free, convenient and well-structured public parking is readily available. Guests should be aware that the apartment is four flights of stairs above street level and there is no lift. The stairs are well made and maintained but could be a problem for persons with mobility constraints.
