Albergo Barbara offers accommodations in Vernazza town center, a few steps from the sea. Free WiFi is available throughout. Fantastic view. Clean, comfy room. Very friendly, helpful staff. Bathroom clean, adequate, shower a little tight, but perfectly functional. Thanks for a great overnight stay! A highlight of our stay was swimming in the beautiful clear ocean on the pebble beach, the farthest spot from the entrance to the "tunnel" to the western beach. Magnificent!
In the heart of the 5 Terre Coast, the Hotel Gianni Franzi features rooms with private bathrooms just below Vernazza's Doria Castle. Wonderful room and bathroom with great views and air con. Very helpful staff. Terraces overlooking sea fantastic.
Pensione Sorriso is 164 feet from Vernazza Train Station, with direct links around the Cinque Terre area. It offers a furnished garden and a bar. Great location, right next to the train station. We stayed in #10 on the forth floor with a cute little balcony that overlooked the town facing the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and a good value. The host made us cappuccinos and decorated the top with cute little flowers from the garden. I highly recommend!
Santa Marta Rooms 23 is set in Vernazza's historic center, 492 feet from the sea shore, in the UNESCO Cinque Terre National Park. Free WiFi is available throughout. Allesandro! He made everything easy for us. He is the best host I have ever encountered, going above and beyond to help us in every way.
La Polena - Affittacamere is set in Vernazza, 27 mi from Portofino. Featuring free WiFi, each room at this guest house is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Frederico was helpful in every way. The location was amazing- within steps to the beach, train, and wonderful restaurants. La Polena was beautiful and modern, very clean and perfect for our family.
Cadè Ventu offers pet-friendly accommodations 2.5 mi from Vernazza town center, on the hill between Vernazza e Corniglia. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms have a flat-screen TV. The couple who run the accomodation were very lovely and friendly. The Food and wine were absolutely gorgeous for a very reasonable price. We had an excellent stay!
Boasting a garden with barbecue facilities, and a sea-view terrace, Il Sole di Valletonda Holiday House provides accommodations in Corniglia, in the UNESCO Cinque Terre Natural Park.
Offering free WiFi and sea views, Corniglia - San Bernardino WiFi is a property located in San Bernardino. This apartment provides barbecue facilities as well as a shared lounge. The apartment in San Bernardino has an amazing sea view and view of Corniglia! It was very clean and comfortable and private. We loved meeting Mauro and Alba and a few of the other locals who greeted us. The fellow working in the little bar by the bus stop was very pleasant and helpful also! Taking the bus in to Vernazza was fun because of the locals on the bus. All in all, my husband and I would choose to stay in the San Bernardino apartment again because it was good value for our money and it felt like an authentic Italian village experience.
A Casa di Anna is set in Vernazza. The accommodations has free WiFi. This 2-bedroom holiday home comes with a seating area, a TV and a kitchen with an oven. The owners were very friendly and the house was beautiful! It’s a short 10 minute bus ride from vernazza but is totally worth it with the view and the price you pay. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Offering a garden, Luca e Giulia has accommodations in San Bernardino. Complimentary WiFi is featured. Francisco was absolutely amazing, gps doesn’t take you all the way there so be sure to ask Fransisco. Also it is hard to see from the road. Other than that, it was AMAZING. Francisco is a great host, the place is in the middle of the Cinque Terre. And has a BEAUTIFUL view. I would absolutely stay here again.
Gorgeous - the only thing is sometimes some of the trails between the Cinque Terre towns are closed because of rockslides, so you do have to check. I never made it to Corniglia (or went on that trail which looked gorgeoussss) because it was closed. Some stretches of trail are short and some are literally 2.5 hours. Toilets are not easy to find. Delicious gelato. Overall epic, wonderful place to visit! I would say Montessoro de Mer is the prettiest, but they're all fabulous.
We enjoyed 3 nights and 2 full days in Vernazza in late September. We found it more crowded than expected but had a great time. We used both the train and the boats to see all the villages. The trail to Corniglia is challenging. Recommend a sunset boat tour past all the villages, that was a highlight. There are private tours or small group tours through Nord Est.
We really enjoyed the seafood and our servers were very nice and helpful. The beach at Montorossoal mare was off putting with rental chairs very close together, not helpful if you are there for an hour or two. The store staff were universally unfriendly, probably sick of all the tourists near the end of the season. A very bad rock band set up at the harbour, played two songs and left. That was a relief.
Vernazza is a beautiful seaside town. There are challenging hikes to the other hill towns that offer stunning views. Most of the restaurants we tried were fairly priced and the food delicious. The train station is close to everything, and walking the town is quite easy. Vernazza can probably be done in a day, but consider using it as a location for branching out to the other hill towns. All the towns are very similar, but each has its own, unique charm. We recommend Il Pirata and Trattoria da Sandro as good restaurants to try during your stay.
We loved the quaint harbor town and its history. We were amazed at how well it has recovered from the 2011 flood — few signs remain. It is a beautiful town with plenty to do: touring the towns, hiking, relaxing, shopping, boating, etc. It is very easy to get around the towns using the local trains, but they were quite crowded. Overall we were disappointed in the tourist crowds in late April: all five towns in Cinque Terre were packed, with Italians (who had a one-day holiday during that week) and a ton of Americans, as well as a smattering of tourists from other countries.
Vernazza is a beautiful town in the Cinque Terre. We enjoyed hiking some trails between villages as well as using the train to travel between them. We also hired a private boat for an hour to see all of the towns from the water. It was a very relaxing time with gelato at least once a day. Found a great restaurant next door to our hotel called Il Pirate. We had breakfast there every day and 2 dinners. Best bread and croissants on this trip to Italy. We really liked Vernazza the best of all the villages.

Views Comfort Tranquility Cleanliness Stars This property is absolutely beautiful. This is 2km from Vernazza. A vehicle is a must. Parking is on the main road (safe) and you need to walk about 100m on a path to get to the house. It's recommended you bring your luggage with what you need for your stay. Leave the remains in your car. The view is spectacular with the coast visible from the Terrace. All supplies provided: The hosts were fantastic and attentive. The drive to Cinque Terre is not for the faint of heart. Great place.

The hosts were lovely - very friendly and helpful and made it extra special for us when they found out it was our honeymoon. The room was gigantic - it had a separate lounge room with a TV and couch that doubled up as another bed. The views from the room were amazing. Vernazza was our favourite town in Cinque Terre (maybe even the world!) and we would both love to return one day. If/when we come back, we'll stay at La Polena again without hesitation.

This location is away from all of the tourist mayhem, high on a hillside... peaceful, relaxing with an amazing view. You can get a bus or a taxi to get back and forth from town, no problem. Just pay attention to the schedules. The owners couldn’t be any nicer or accommodating and Nema has such a kind spirit. PZeta is the perfect place if you want to be out in nature and in the hills of Cinque Terre.

The room was right off the main street of Vernazza. Right near the train station, bars and restaurants and spots to swim. We visited all the towns of the Cinque Terre and this was our favourite of them all- very glad we chose this one to stay in. Luca, Anna’s son was very helpful and friendly and showed us some spots in town on the way to our room. The room was clean and well kept.

Federico and Virginia were the perfect hosts. They helped us with luggage and were very good at communicating. The apartment is very close to everything in perfect Vernazza and was extremely clean and comfortable. This apartment was one of our 2 favourite places we stayed in Italy over 3 weeks. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Much bigger and better than the photos!

This place is a gem. Breathtaking views, clean, modern room, and attentive and super sweet hosts. Cadu Ventu is the perfect spot to hike around cinque terre and then enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of the area. We enjoyed breakfast and amazing dinners prepared by our host each night and really didn’t feel the need to head out in the evenings. Highly recommend. Bellisima!

We were met at the train station and walked to the right up the hill about 5 minutes. She showed us to our room and gave us keys as well as the details. We got right back out and enjoyed our night in Vernazza. Very easy to find, very safe for a mom and her daughter and cozy. Not luxury but quaint charm.

Nice room, big bed, and clean. The location of the room was well situated in Vernazza, but kind of hard to get to. MANY stairs, but once inside it was pleasant. Anna was great, very friendly. Room overlooked the main road, which was fun for people watching while drinking my morning coffee.

Excellent open, airy space located right off the main square in Vernazza, a great home base for a couple of days in Cinque Terre. Flexible arrival and easy check-out let us go with the flow without having to commit to specific meeting times.

We stayed in the triple room by the main square and the location was excellent! The main building is beside “il pirate della cinque terre” café which is the best place in town for breakfast. Overall was a good experience :)

Great location in town. Go into the Cinque Terre Point shop when you arrive at the Vernazza station. That’s where you get the key and the staff there will carry your bags to the house, otherwise you will 100% get lost

The room was decorated really cute and romantic. The view is nice on a clear day (we had some hazyness). You can go out to have dinner in one of the villages of cinque terre and see it with less tourist around.

Alessandro was great, and helpful. The Room was clean and relatively new with a nice terrace/balcony and very handy to everything in the small town if Vernazza. This is NOT however a hotel so beware.

Location, view, hospitality, and the hotel located at the top gives the whole view, colors and sounds (eg. church bells ringing while sun rising) of the town, and you feel the spirit of Cinque Terre.

Wonderful location in the heart of Vernazza. Our room was up 129 steps, but had the best view of the ocean and was very clean and comfortable. We loved staying there.

Vernazza is a wonderful place, but we liked it even more because of the cozy, clean and pitoresque accommodation at Guardando le stelle! Thank you Paula!

Alessandro was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about Vernazza and the area. Great location for access to Cinque Terre in all directions.

The location was excellent and it was well provisioned. Dishes, coffee, basic kitchen supplies, and even a Rick Steves guidebook

The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the location is close to the water and close to the Cinque Terre trails.
