Cadè Ventu offers pet-friendly accommodations on the gill between Vernazza and Corniglia, and is located 3.1 mi from Vernazza town center and 2.5 mi from the closest beach. The most amazing location, the most amazing food...and most off all the incredible Betty, Ezio & Niccolo who made us feel part of their family and did everything and more to make us feel completely at home, spoil us at every occasion and made this a most memorable stay. One of us had special dietary requirements. Not only did Ezio take those into account, he used all his skills and imagination to create beautifully looking and wonderfully tasting food, As you can see from other reviews, the location is truly unique. We had no trouble finding using Google and the views are just too beautiful to describe. We did both the Cinque Tere walks (amazing but lots of fellow tourists), as well as the high path walks straight from Cadè Vendu (also fantastic and we met 6 people in 4 hours, versus "6000 in 2 hours" on the Corniglia-Vernazza trail). Cannot recommend high enough, we hope to be back soon!!

Vernazza is the best town to stay in the Cinque Terre if you want the perfect balance between a cozy romantic getaway and a lively town. It is arguably the most picturesque of the five towns, and has great access to the hiking trails. It is small and quaint, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and stores. It is also not as steep as some of the other towns in the Cinque Terre. The train station is right in the center of the town, and the beach offers a lot of opportunities to watch the waves crash, take a boat trip or sit and enjoy the sun.
Great location to stay in and easy to get to the other Terres via train. We walked from Vernazza, to Manarola, through Corniglia and Volastra. It was incredibly beautiful but also tough. Would recommend!
Cinque Terre is an idillyc place. I visited in February under the most beautifull wheather....just little too cold to enjoy beach time but Vernazza and all other paesinos near by are just beatifull. Probably in summer time too much tourists arround....but it is worthy. If you are ready to walk up and down stairs all day long and make some good easy/hard trails this is the place to be.....enjoy it😉
Remember that you are staying in a fishing town from the early 1000s that was isolated until the construction of the rail, there are many stair to go up and down, ALL OVER the town!!!! I think it was fantastic to get lost in that maze of stairs. It is just that it's not a place for people with movement difficulties. A vacation can be ruined if you expect to be in a place with facilities for the disabled, just visit another city in Italy. Amazing food!!!
It was beautiful. So quaint and friendly. We had some incredible seafood at the restaurants. We got turned on to the anchovy platters served in several different ways. We enjoyed just sitting and looking at the sea. The best views are on up high so walking the all the steps is worth it. It was fun to travel to the other villages as well. We had intended to walk the trails but they were closed due to weather, but trains run frequently.
well it is our favourite of all our cinque Terre towns unfortunately being November the town all but shuts down - with one or two restaurants only at night - and the delis shutting by 7. The food on offer was so so and the service patchy All the walking trails were shut due to the weather On the other hand you pretty much get to explore without the hoards and that is asz very beautiful thjng
