Eda from the reception desk did over and beyond to help us build a plan for a day around lake Garda. The whole property is extremely clean, nice, and new. The room was convenient, regularly cleaned and the bed as comfortable. AC worked really well. Nice big shower and toilet. We had a nice view of the city in the top (6th floor). We are extremely happy that we made the choice to stay here.

Cà Toresele Relais Osteria Garden, Best Western Plus Hotel De Capuleti, and Corte Ongaro Hotel got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Verona.
We stayed three nights. A fourth would have helped to accomodate some shopping. A beautiful city with endless opportunities to browse, shop and eat as well as enjoy the cultural aspects. Lots of green space and the river flowing through the town makes it very attractive to travellers.
Beautiful, Serene and Calm city. Must have if you want to just relax and wind down. May I suppose is the best time. City Municipality have got their strategy perfectly right and is in favour of tourists. Do visit !!!
It is quite easy to get around and see most of the big monuments in a short space of time. I would recommend at least 2 days to give you ample time to view the various areas and activities. The Verona Arena gets busy so book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Make sure you have comfortable shoes as there will be tons of walking, all of which will be worth it!
Such an easy city to travel around. Visit the tourist information office near to the Arena and purchase a Verona card - this gives you 24 or 48 hr access to most of the museums and sites (including Arena and Juliet balcony). Well worth the money.
We visited the Giardino Giusti, it was shut for a private function. The Museo di Castelvecchio was interesting and saved us from the rain. The restaurants all served good food and were not overly expensive. It is reasonably level so easy to walk around. The streets were very busy even in the middle of May. The architecture was interesting - all very old buildings with exceptions like the library. We didn't stay long enough to find out really what the city had to offer. We had planned to travel to Lake Garda but didn't because of the rain.
We landed in Verona as a stepping stone to Venice but after an early evening stroll we decided to delay our plans to leave first thing and see more of Verona. Our few hours in the evening and the whole of the following morning were no where near enough to experience this fantastic place. We will return for a long weekend I’m sure.
Second time stay at the Hotel Verona. Very friendly, helpful staff at reception. This time I had the buffet-style continental breakfast, which was very adequate. Lovely room on first floor, clean, comfy, great shower .... The hotel is in a great location, around a 10 min walk to Porta Nuova train station and less than that to get to Piazza Bra and the Arena ( and shops ). When checking-out I asked for a cab ( to go direct to the airport ) and it arrived before I had said " Arrivederci" to staff.
Città Antica, Verona
Wonderful welcome and hospitality from the general manager, Alessandro. The rooms were beautiful and the views were out of this world! We were very fortunate to stay in the top suite with both bath and balcony overlooking Verona. We could not have found a more romantic hotel. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and presented beautifully. It is a very small boutique hotel, so it felt like a home rather than a hotel. We had 2 bikes which the manager kindly let us store in his garage.
Borgo Trento, Verona
Visited Verona for the Giro, we had 2 apartments that were fantastic. Matteo and his family looked after us with croissants, fresh cherries and lots of help of where to eat out. I try and visit Italy every year for the Giro and every time I am amazed by the friendliness and warm welcome. This was great value for money, approx 30-40 mins from the centre of Verona, with great views from the balcony. Thank you Matteo and family we will be back!
This is a great choice for people who would like to see Verona, but prefer staying overnight on the outskirts of the city. The Euromotel is around 15-20 minutes by bus till the city centre and has it's own parking. Close to the hotel is a supermarket and bus stop. The bus tickets you can buy at reception as well. The breakfast is very good, though I didn't like the coffee, it might be more delicious (you're in Italy). :)
Since we were going to take day excursions by train we wanted to find a hotel closer to the station than old town Verona. Hotel Martini was a 10 minute walk to the station and about a 20-25 minute walk to the main sights in Verona. The hotel was very clean and the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. There was a nice selection of choices for breakfast. The room was small but very comfortable and clean.
+location is amazing, specially if you are travelling through Italy by bus, it is in 10 min walking distance from Flixbus station +it is in 10min walking distance to famous Arena and all the main attractions in Verona, it is all reachable on foot + nice room decor, as well amazing, amazing breakfast with great food selection +staff is very attentive,, everyone is always in the good mood, really loved it!
San Zeno, Verona
Room was huge. All the Corona measures were followed in the accommodation and it was clean in general. There are three bathrooms for eight rooms, so not crowded in the morning. It is within walking distance to any interesting sight in Verona. There is a free parking nearby ("Parcheggio Porta Palio"). Verona is the great base for exploring the North of Italy.
The best possible location and hotel was easy to find. Employees were really kind and helpful and fluently spoke in english (which i was afraid that would be a problem in Italy). We were also pleasantly surprised about the breakfast because of the many options - gluten free section, soy milk,... Would recommend the stay and we will definitely come back!
The hotel is one block from Piazza Bra. Driving a car is an issue with arrival and parking. Very small parking facility. Breakfast does not start until 8:00 AM. The car cannot be retrieved from the parking facility until 7:30 AM so if you have early travel requirements take note. The hotel and staff is very typical of larger hotels in Italy.
Very nice hotel with great location and excellent Staff, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best in Italy, we ever had. We had a problem with the first room, but the manager changed it, and the second one was great! The Staff on the reception and the staff during the breakfast explained us and cared us for everything we needed.
This stunning small hotel was a highlight of my Italy trip! Decorated in modern Italian, antiques and kitsch with a lovely breakfast spread. The bed was so comfy I did not want to leave. Staff was welcoming and fun as I tried to use my basic Italian-- they, of course, spoke perfect English. Verona is a sweet town.
Città Antica, Verona
Perfect apartment for a trip to Verona! Everything in the apartment is at a 5 stars hotel level., decorated with love for details and hand picked items. Andrea takes time for his guests, sharing valuable insider tips for exploring the city. We will definitely come back, so happy to have found this place.
Beautiful hotel close to restaurants, shopping and the arena. There was a kettle in my room with tea & coffee. Staff members were all very kind and helpful. This has been the nicest place I have stayed during my 3 weeks in Italy. I found the value exceptional.
Città Antica, Verona
Location was a very short walk from the city center and parking nearby was 7€ for a day. The place felt secure and The area was pretty nice and full of scenery. The room is a very good size and very clean compared to my other stays in Italy.
Borgo Trento, Verona
What can I say, view, breakfast, location, staff all were on point. This was one of our favorite places of the 8 places we stayed on our 3 week trip to Italy. I will recommend this oasis in Verona to all I know.
San Zeno, Verona
Beautiful and cozy room, and the most complete breakfast I've eaten so far in my trip in Italy. Virginia doesn't speak much English, but she is very friendly, nice and makes herself understood.
I like everything about this hotel in the centre of Verona. the rooms very nicely decorated and some rooms smaller but very sufficient!
Città Antica, Verona
Clean and practical. Very comfy and nice room. Easy to a quick stay in Verona city center during Vinitaly.
Nice city hotel in Verona with pool, good breakfest and friendly staff. What else to aks for?
