Hotel in Città Antica, Verona
Just 164 feet from Verona Arena, the Hotel Milano is in Verona’s historic center. The hotel is located in an amazing location just a few meters from the arena. Its huge plus is parking, which is available in the hotel garage. The staff was nice and willing to help with everything. The hotel is very nice, modern and cleaned. We recommend visiting the rooftop bar. They offer a large selection of drinks and waiters are very friendly. It is definitely worth visiting the spa on the roof, you just need to book it in advance and you will be completely alone there. That beautiful view from the roof is worth every euro. If we return to Verona, we will definitely choose Hotel Milano & SPA again. Thank you for an amazing stay. ❤️

Most beautiful place I've ever stayed fell completely in love with it. Piazza erbe is the place to stay. Stumbled upon a silent disco in the square that was brilliant. Visited the Arena Juliet's balcony Romeos house drank Aperol spritz in the sunshine. Everywhere you look there's a perfect picture. Cleanest place I've ever had the pleasure of staying. Walk to anywhere in the compact city no travelling costs at all. Maybe stay away from the main squares to eat if you're on a budget. Loved our accommodation in an ancient building shuttered windows awoke each day to the sound of bells with swallows darting past the window and the sun streaming in. Would choose this over a swanky Hotel again anyday it was perfectly Italian shabby chic. Verona - we will be back for more ❤️
Room was expensive and not what we expected. Called a studio 'apartment ', but just a small room and bathroom. Not an apartment as photo showed. Disappointed, as may as well have stayed in a hotel for the money!
Verona is magical and vibrant. There are so many things to do and visit, but if you do not have enough time to go to museums just walk around the old city, enjoy the views and architecture and of course the excellent food.
Been to Verona many times and absolutely adore the place; it has all the charm and character of an old city, all the facilities and infrastructure of a "proper" tourist centre, but seemingly without anything like the bustle and mayhem of somewhere like Roma. It's very civilised effortlessly classy, totally non-threatening, easy to navigate and has so many options when it comes to drinking and dining that you visit a different venue every day for weeks and never be disappointed, and you'll always find somewhere to fit your budget. That said, self-catering stays are equally rewarding - there are numerous supermarkets and enough specialist, properly independent fresh food shops to make you wince compared to the UK - proper butchers, proper bakers, fruiterers, market stalls, all of which are very competitively priced and offer the most amazing variety of stuff. Take whatever aspect of a holiday you want and Verona has it all in spades - history - entertainment - night life - food - wine - sport - scenery (it's a beautiful place, alongside everything else) - and, chances are, that the weather will be gorgeous too; simply cannot wait to go back...
What a gem of a town. Cool Roman arena in the historic center surrounded by street side cafes and green space. The surrounding cobblestone streets and alleyways are great to explore for restaurants and shops.
Great feeling! Clean and Cosy, Ideal for a City Break if a longer stay isn't poss. A week would be more than enough to explore around! Lots of events and prices modest! The Old City within walking distance, Caffes (small) and tavernas here and there and along the riverside/s. Variety of shops for any need. Exellent Aura! People were friendly and eager to assist! Overall Value for Money!
Very nice older hotel located at the entrance to Verona. Easy to find, with reception open 24h and very friendly staff even upon late arrival. The room is decored in '60 style with a very comfortable bed (pretty important if you are a pregnant lady on a roundtrip) and the bathroom that comes with a bathtub what is also very convenient after a long trip. The breakfast is really, really good, with lot of cheese & cured meat & bread options, various fruits & juices and different types of coffee and tea offered.
Città Antica, Verona
This was the first hotel we stayed at on our first trip ever to Italy -- and we could not have chosen a better one! We were treated with the ultimate hospitality and charm, and our room was perfect: The balcony overlooking the quiet, beautiful street was enchanting, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the basket of baked goods for breakfast just the right thing. Wish we could have stayed more than 2 nights. We would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance.
The hotel is close to the train station and has 24 hour reception. it was about a 30 minute walk to the main downtown area. The city felt very safe so it wasn’t an issue. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite large in comparison to all of our other hotels in Italy. clean and shower worked great. breakfast had great options! staff was friendly and available 24 hours and allowed luggage storage on your last day.
San Zeno, Verona
Room was huge. All the Corona measures were followed in the accommodation and it was clean in general. There are three bathrooms for eight rooms, so not crowded in the morning. It is within walking distance to any interesting sight in Verona. There is a free parking nearby ("Parcheggio Porta Palio"). Verona is the great base for exploring the North of Italy.
The Design of the whole complex especially the Rooms is really beautiful! You have an amazing view over Verona The personell is really nice and helpful, best i have ever seen in italy The Restaurants are both nice. The new One directly inside the hotel is serving japanese influenced italian cuisine and is really something new and it was really delicious.
Borgo Milano - Stadio, Verona
The apartment offers everything you need and it's quite comfortable. The location is somewhat apart from Verona's center but this was a known fact and for us actually an advantage to experience some of the real life in Italy. The most important things are in short walking distance (cafe, grocery, good pizza place, etc.)
Verona
The property is stunning. It is tucked away on a hill, surrounded by olive trees and grape vines, with views of the countryside and Verona. It’s a perfect mix of high design elements and historical architecture. Alberto is a gracious host with a wealth of local knowledge. I highly recommend this beautiful estate hotel.
The location was perfect for someone coming in by train yet was situated on the main boulevard leading to the old center of Verona. The room had all amenities and more, even a jacuzzi tub! This is the best rating I’ve ever given a hotel. Exceptionally clean, full of small thoughtful details.
We have been at Hotel Elefante multiple times and we always come back when we travel to Italy. In this particular time, I really appreciated all the effort of the staff to make it as comfortable as ever even, with all the safety measures in place. Really great! We hope to be back soon again!
Close to a nice square walking into town for dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff with great rooms. Excellent shower and dito beds (key to a great hotel stay). Airco worked quiet and great (was very necessary during our stay). One of the best Wifi connections in Italy we have experienced
Città Antica, Verona
It’s a hidden secret! A great location close to the Arena in combination with a fantastic suite with all confort of a 5 star Hotel. And Andrea is a perfect host! We can only recommend Guelphs and Ghibellines as the best place to stay in Verona. You don’t have to look any further.
*The location - close to all the tourist attractions *The bed was the most comfortable of our entire stay in Italy -and we stayed at five different hotels - all five-star! *Our suite was large, comfortable, clean, and quiet (garden side) *Staff was helpful and kind.
Città Antica, Verona
Amazing location, walking distance to all the main attractions in Verona, spacious and clean room with friendly staff and the most comfortable bed we've had in 2 weeks in Italy!
Modern hotel in the middle of Verona. Rooms feel like a modern US hotel, not a lot of Italian charm. WiFi is good. Parking near by at a reasonable price.
The room spacious ans lots of parking area, the reception staff were kind and helpful. It was my favourite hotel in my trip in Italy
To me the best hotel you could choose in the heart of Verona!
All of staffs are so friendly with smile always. Room is very clean & comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic with variety of foods and fruits. This hotel id really in the city center to reach every historic and attractive places in a minutes by walk. Price/value ratio is excellent.
The free buffet was excellent. It had quite a variety of choices. The hotel was in a quiet area on the east side of Verona about 3 km from Centro. It is close enough to Centro for quick access to whatever your interest is there. I was there for a visit to the archaeology museum.
Lovely design hotel. Right in the city center. Parking available.
