Located in Volastra, 1.3 mi from Riomaggiore Beach, Albergo Luna di Marzo features accommodations with a garden, private parking and a terrace. The location was perfect. It was centrally located to visit several main tourist spots. The best part of our stay was the view. It was relaxing and breathtaking sunsets. The service and breakfast were outstanding.

Beautiful renewed apartment in a beautiful place in a small calm village on the mountain right between the wine and olive trees with a wonderful view on the ocean. The apartment is in the middle of the mountain hike between villages so you can immediately hike your way to the next village, or even the village after. You will pass beautiful nature and some local products on the way. Go for a swim at every village you pass. Like a dream! Come back by train (and 5 min bus ride up the mountain). The owner is really kind and is ready to help you.

Set on the hills of Volastra, in the 5 Terre Regional Nature Park, this holiday home features free WiFi, a garden with BBQ facilities and a terrace. We enjoyed our staying in this house very much, it was perfect for our family with our four adults kids. The view from garden is fantastic, we could see the see. By car is very ok, without car is almost impossible to travel. The house is close to all villages on Cinque Terre.

Boasting garden views, Il nido delle Cinque terre features accommodations with a balcony and a kettle, around 1.2 mi from Riomaggiore Beach. Elisabetta was really helpful with check in & giving us information about the area. Great little apartment right on the Cinque Terre path. It was perfect for two of us but three people would be a bit of a squeeze. Had all the amenities we needed (including a very good hairdryer - wife's comment) & the apartment just has a few steps up to it (always good when you've got a big suitcase!). Volastra is a lovely little place to stay away from the crowds & there's a small grocery shop about 10 steps from the front door, as well as a couple of restaurants in the village. You can walk the path down to Manarola/back up in about 30-40mins & when you don't have the energy for the uphill climb, there's a reliable little bus (approx. every 30-45mins at peak times). You can pay on the bus (2 euros) or buy the bus tickets at the tourist information office, which is a little cheaper (recommend a book of 10 tickets if you're staying for a few days).

Set in Volastra, 1.2 mi from Riomaggiore Beach, CREUZA DE 5 TERRE offers free WiFi and garden views. There is a private bathroom with bidet in all units, along with a hairdryer and free toiletries. We loved how Andrea met us personally when we arrived and showed us up to the apartment. He was so helpful carrying our bags and then taking us through the apartment. The apartment was really lovely- very clean and modern. Beds were super comfortable, the bathroom looked newly renovated and there was a hairdryer, a fan in each bedroom and a coffee machine! Location is so quiet and peaceful and a welcome relief away from the crowds. The village is so quaint and has a small shop to buy the basics - like cheese and wine and milk and breakfast. The bus runs regularly down to Manarola or you can hike down. We did it once! We also walked to Corniglia which was spectacular through the grape vines. We had dinner at the restaurant around the corner and the food here was divine. We love Volastra and Andrea’s apartment!

Boasting a restaurant and a garden, Appartamento vacanze "Borgo Cinque Terre" Volastra Manarola provides accommodations in Volastra with free WiFi and garden views. Wonderful 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean, and the host was very friendly. There is a small market just minutes from the apartment where you can buy any food you like --- great if you want to cook meals at the place.

Featuring garden views, Il Cortile del Contadino provides accommodations with a garden and a balcony, around 1.3 mi from Riomaggiore Beach. Thank you Sandro and Andrea for letting us stay. We love being up at Valostra. It's a lot quieter and it suits us.

Located in Volastra, 1.4 mi from Riomaggiore Beach, The Garden features accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. This is a beautiful and clean apartment with a stunning garden. The apartment is equipped with a kitchen and fridge and an espresso machine. It is located in Volastra - a beautiful, quaint town away from the crowds. It's steps away from a trail leading to Corniglia - a path that takes you past vineyards with spectacular views of the sea. There's a great restaurant in town (Locanda Tiabuscion - reservations suggested during busy months) as well as a vineyard (Capellini5terre) that offers wine tasting and bruschetta. It took us a couple of days to orient ourselves and to realize what lay beyond the doorstep. It would be helpful to get more pointers regarding hikes and attractions in the area. There's so much beauty!
Volastra
Boasting a restaurant, a garden, and a terrace, Ca' Di Rissi features accommodations in Volastra with free WiFi and sea views. Beautiful, new, modern, spacey, comfortable, fully equipped appartman. Manarola is in walking distance, but it is a demaning, nice walk. Close to a small supermarket. Host arrived very quickly when we called to collect the keys and helped with finding a proper free parking place.
Volastra is a great place to escape to for some quiet time and relaxation. There is a shuttle that stops here, but we decided to drive. It is situated high on the mountainside. The trip up is a little difficult, but the views of the sea are well worth the adventure. There is an excellent restaurant Locanda Tiabisucion in the town. You can also easily trek down to Manarola and Comiglia.
This property was fine for a short stay. We stayed two nights, giving us an evening and a full day to visit the Cinque Terre. It was very close to public transportation to go down to Manarola where you can easily catch the train that stops at all the other Cinque Terre towns. The view from this apartment is incredible! Plan to have easily portable luggage because you will need to carry it up to the fourth floor. Thankfully, the host helped us with our carry-on sized bags that were pre-packed for a two night stay. The kitchen is awesome. There was no TV, but there was wifi. There is also a hiking trail that connects to Corniglia (another Cinque Terre village) very close to the apartment and a small store with food supplies. We didn't try the restaurant there, but it looked like it would be good.
Volastra is a hidden gem of Cinque Terre. It is a quaint little village full of locals who go about village life as if you are just part of the furniture! They smile and make you feel welcome but don’t treat you like a tourist, in other words you see how life is normally! The only sound is the chime of the church bell on the hour and the occasional conversations of the Italian people. It is so peaceful and a welcome relief from the bustle of Manarola. The bus regularly travels up and down the mountain but the hike down is worth doing - once! The walk to Corniglia is spectacular. Volastra has a small shop and a gorgeous restaurant which boasts local products on the menu. At times it was a pain to time our return with the bus at night but we just fit in with the schedule and it was so lovely to return to the quiet. We loved Volastra!
Volastra is a lovely hillside village just 2.5 km from the coastal Cinque Terre village of Manarola but a world away from the tourist mayhem. Easy bus service down to the coast, then trains to other places. Lovely walks (not the big hikes) to enjoy fantastic views even for us who are not so fit. Useful little shop and a couple of good but pricey restaurants. Delightful little narrow streets to explore.
Don’t miss spending time in Manarola. And, if you are healthy and want a challenge - take the hike from Volastra to Corniglia. The first 2/3s is full of amazing views and wonderful sights. The last part - the descent down to Corniglia is a trail that is very uneven and demands careful hiking.
Volasta is a great place to stay, especially if you enjoy hiking. The views are gorgeous, the town is charming, there’s a market with essentials, and a hotel with terrific coffee. There’s a bus to and from the cinque terra, but we did not use it as the hikes to and from were fantastic and doable even for less experieced hikers. I could have easily stayed there for at least a week and found plenty of things to do. I am definitely hoping to go back.
Host is very friendly and helpful. Antonella told us how to get to the villages, have a map. The breakfast was home made - fresh and hot. The room is spacious and clean.
