We couldn't have had a better experience. From start to finish the hosts were welcoming, generous and thoughtful. The room was super clean, The people at the camp couldn't do enough for us. Set 6.8 mi from Wadi Rum, Desert Moon Camp has a shared lounge and restaurant. The tour desk can help arrange some activities and free WiFi is available. You get a tent with fabric walls with a bed in it, that's it. But this place isn't about your room, it's about the entire experience, and for us it was incredible. The local dinner cooked under the sand for hours was really good, the desert tour was amazing, the vibe around the fire was so nice, and you really get a glimpse into the bedouin life by talking to the guys that run the place. You can ride a camel, ride a jeep, or just hike around in one of the most beautiful places on earth. But i'm sure some of you city slickers are wondering: yes they have running water, hot showers, flush toilets and even fast Wifi

Spacious rooms and comfortable and clean beds, large bathroom with hot shower in the middle of the desert. I enjoyed delicious breakfast and traditional dinner that were included in the price. Amazing place to disconnect from your real life and live different adventures (camel riding, jeep tour, hiking...). This is how we managed to visit all the interesting places in the desert. Best part was drinking tea in the evening next to the fireplace and summing up all the events and thoughts of the day. Wadi Rum reserve offers a unique experience to anyone who plans a trip. The desert and its martian landscapes are beyond amazing. The hills are barren of vegetation or wildlife, so uncommon to other hilly areas one may have seen. But the whole place is uniquely beautiful, and the people who plan the trips are friendly. We stayed as a couple overnight and opted for a full-day tour venturing deep inside the desert. The pictures we clicked were terrific, and the sunset was breathtaking. Seeing the Bedouin lifestyle is also quite an experience!
The best camp to stay at is Wadi Rum Dream Camp. They offer amazing services and activities, all you need to do is book it and you won't regret it. Sunrise view from your bedroom, camel rides, sand boarding, sunset jeep safari, traditional cuisine and many more!
Amazing desert landscape that lives up to its name as the 'Valley of the moon'. Nothing short of exquisite and breath-taking. Stayed at Aicha Luxury Camp which is now my favourite place in the world. The camp provided all transport and guides with amazing service.
Wadi Rum is being ruined by overdevelopment. We visited in 2017 and you barely saw another camp. There were no shops set up at each point of interest. It was a proper desert experience. Now, you can't look across any view of the desert without seeing a camp, shop or a new camp under construction. They are actively destroying the reason people visit, and that will lead to less tourists and less income. It's the typical sad story of a lack of tourism management.
Amazing place, one of its kind. Must visit for nature-lovers. One needs to be well-prepared to tackle the cold during winters as many Stay-Camps do not have adequate facilities like 24 hours hot-water in the bathroom etc.
Wadi Rum
Staying at the camp was one of the highlights of our trip to Jordan. It was a wonderful way to slow down and take in the vastness and beauty of Wadi Rum. We did two tours (camel rides and desert tour) and absolutely loved every minute of both. The dinner was delicious and Majed, the owner, was a wonderful host. We had a great time getting to know him over the course of the evening. Our night in Wadi Rum is the first thing we tell everyone about when asked about our trip, and we can't thank Majed enough for welcoming us in.
Wadi Rum
I have visited Wadi Rum twice before but this time is different by all standards, the location of the camp made me feel that I am actually in the desert, the view, the tranquility and the fresh air all help to relax. The camp uses full solar energy and there are no diesel generators. Eid (owner) has strong conversational skills in English. The food is prepared with ingredients mostly local and fresh with spices with a delicious taste. The jeep tour was great and time passed quickly. Good luck to Mr. Eid in the coming days.
Wadi Rum
Location and endowment of the camp, the beauty of the Wadi and the charm of people, the way of cooking and the excellence of the food (in the desert!) - and in particular: Khaled himself ! He is an outstanding host, friendly, helping, always finding a solution and above all always funny and joking, with a smile in his face. Thanks to him and his crew we will never forget our stay in Wadi Rum and in Jordan.
Wadi Rum
I don't write reviews all that often. I thought Wadi rum was amazing, and the camp exceeded all my expectations. Mohammad was so nice and welcoming and the hotel itself was out of this world. Honestly, no words to describe how good it was. Definitely recommend. It's worth going if you want the true bedouin experience but with the comfort of a 5 star hotel. The bubble (superior room) was great.
Wadi Rum
Great experience in the amazing wadi rum! Spent a night in the camp in the middle of the desert and a full day tour with the jeep seeing all the beautiful places wadi rum has to offer with the opportunity of small hikes and climbs in almost every place. Also tried sandboarding! Ahmad, Abood and everybody else at the camp are super nice! Really good vibes and great food! Highly recommended
Wadi Rum
We liked everything! The desert tour was our favorite! It included seeing the beautiful spots, a camel ride, and sandboarding for our kids. The camp was nice and very clean. The dinner was delicious! The meat was cooked underground in a zarp which was cool to see. Staying at Wadi Rum Desert Heart camp was the highlight of our Jordan trip. We 100% recommend!
Wadi Rum
I loved everything. A beautiful and quiet place deep in the desert, fantastic. We was surrounded by amazing people, like our host Khaleda and our guide Mohammed, so friendly and so kind, like family. I'm grateful that I meet them. When I will go back to Wadi Rum (and I will definitely go back), a will choose Khaled and Mohammed, the great Salem Camp😊😊😊
Wadi Rum
The ultimate desert experience! Efficient and accurate support from arrival to departure from Wadi Rum. A desert road trip customized to your liking! Special mention to the guide and the teams on site at the camp! An authentic and wonderful Bedouin evening! Go for it if you want to stay in the desert during your stay in Jordan!
Wadi Rum
Also, the camp is located further in the desert with no others in sight, so the experience of the desert isolation and peace is amazing. There are toilets and showers as well. We would recommend wadi rum local guide to anyone who wants a unique and authentic experience in the in the Wadi Rum desert
Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum is a must visit for visitors of Jordan. One of the most impressive and beautiful places on earth amidst the desert. wadi rum safari camp is a super comfortable tent-compound accommodation where each tent is a hotel like room with real luxurious beds! The view is breathtaking..
Wadi Rum
The hospitality by Salah, Hussien and the other folks at Wadi Rum Stars Camp. The nice rooms and amazing views of the desert, by day and by night (oh, the beautiful starry sky!). Being not too far from Disa village, which makes it easy to access groceries, bank and other useful sites.
Wadi Rum
I traveled in Wadi Rum with the Bedouin Community Camp, Zead was my guide and it was just incredible to experience the desert life I lived in Jordan. Sandboard, sleeping under the stars, and crossing the canyons abroad the jeep were just a few of the incredible activities I did.
Wadi Rum
I decided to try out a new camp on my latest trip to Wadi Rum, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The food was excellent, as were the views of the desert from the camp. This camp is truly the service that Wadi Rum has to offer!
