Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Biei Station, Hotel Lavenir offers free WiFi throughout the property and various culinary lessons including cookie-baking, ice cream-making and making Udon... The room was spacious and comfy. With the price, it was a really good deal. Nice staff, comfortable bed, perfect location (3 mins walk from JR station). And there's decent breakfast included with the price. We were just really happy with what we'd got.
Nestled in the beautiful mountains and surrounded by untouched nature, Shirogane Park Hills features natural hot spring baths, a fitness center and a relaxation massage salon. Great location, friendly staff Shirahege waterfall just in the back of the hotel, Blue pond is just 3 k.m. away.
Located in Biei, Hotel Coro Coro provides accommodations with air conditioning and access to a garden featuring seasonal flowers. Complimentary WiFi is provided. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The host was extremely nice to us (helped us washed our clothes, provided welcoming sweets, breakfast was remarkable). I think we had full house on the day so got very busy at shower time. Yet the host provided an extra shower room for us so that everyone can enjoy ( as it was summer and very hot). Cozy little hotel and will definitely recommend!
Surrounded by serene pasture and vegetable fields, Pension Megumiyuki is located just a 4-minute drive from Biei Station. This is a family run business. The owners are very very nice. They prepared food for us using local ingredients (I imagine some of the vegetable came from their own garden). It's the best salad I have ever had in a long time. The room is spacious and clean. Even though the bathrooms are shared, it wasn't a long wait. A big plus is that the place is super close to a well-known sunset spot, Shineinooka park. We enjoyed a spectacular sunset there.
Offering a garden and free WiFi, Tourist home KEN & MARY provides accommodations in Biei. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The country house has a terrace. Everything was awesome, from the owners themselves and how they service us. They provide cars if we dont have them and drops us off at the station. They would even help us order and borrow a bike from the old lady near the station so that the process would be much easier and faster. Easy to talk too, Rooms and toilet was clean and everything was family friendly. They also entertain us and told funny stories. Awesome location near Ken and Mary tree, very good view all day long from morning, afternoon, evening and at night. Price was worth it.
Set in Biei, PhottageinnBiei offers free luggage storage service and free WiFi throughout the property. This hostel offers free private parking on site. Stayed 1 nite here on Feb 10 2018. To locate this place, once U exit JR Biei, walked to your left until U see a tall building with lift. Use the lift & pedestrian walk to cross over to opposite of JR Biei & U can walk to the Inn's. Bear in mind - IF you search this place using google maps, it will direct U via the common road used by cars which is very far to walk. The place is actually like a cottage, it's the 1st time I stayed in this kind of place so it was a nice experience. Staff can speak English, there are many nice photo's on display all over the cottage, the room are comfortable & I had a good sleep.
Offering a garden, Pension Kinouta is located in Biei surrounded by nature and unblocked skies, 12 mi from Asahikawa. Furano is 19 mi from the property. Free private parking is available on site. I and my wife had two wonderful days at there. The house is beautiful and clean. The location is convenient. It takes only five minutes by car from Biei JR station. It is a traditional Japanese house with beautiful garden. The bath is great. There's a fancy restaurant on the first floor. The host and hostess are very friendly. Host cooks breakfast and dinner delicious. I recommend booking their breakfast and dinner. Especially, their cheese ham, vegetables and fish are delicious. The host called taxi for us with great enthusiasm lot of times. The outside weather was cold, the host specially prepares the heating for us when we came back. It was cold when we ride bike outside, the host made hot tea and hot water for us. If we have a chance to go to Hokkaido again, I would like to book their house again.
Utterly breathtaking place to take in the sights, taste the wonderful produce, and enjoy the hospitality of its people !!!!!! Awesome cycling... Especially along route 966 and furano national highway 237
Tourist friendly, info in English and good maps and bus info. Winter was very beautiful but limited things to do. I'm sure summer and spring are spectacular. We went to relax in the onsen and that's what we did!
A bit disappointed as the lake was frozen solid and this was only in late November, guess it got cold really quick there. Night light show was OK. Driving around Biei was fun and very pleasant. Choice of food outlets are limited so don't be choosy.
A very beautiful smal town in Sapporo. We like it very much. Peaceful, clean, quiet... The scenery nearby is amazingly beautiful. Although it's autumn, still got beautiful flowers to admire, took tours by twinkle bus, book in the information centre.
Bie is in a great location if you want to explore the wider Furano prefecture, though a rental car is essential. It was great to drive from there to the Blue Pond, Flowerland (you really have to go, my absolute favourite!), and the Lavender Farm. There isn't much in Furano itself, but simply driving around makes you appreciate the beautiful countryside . We will definitely return and have completely fallen in love with this part of Hokkaido. Forget Sapporo (really not much there to see) and head straight to the Furano Prefecture!
It's a small town but there was lots to see! It's easy to get around if you have a car and map codes to the places you want to go to, so you need to do some research before going there! Also, restaurants and shops close very early so you need to eat and do your shopping early.

Really liked this hotel. It was easy walking distance to everything we needed, we walked to dinner, we drove to Biei and had no problem parking but was right next to the train station if you’re getting there on the train. The staff was very accommodating, they were fully booked the night we were there and the staff scrounged up two mor pillows so I could stay comfortable while sleeping, 7 months pregnant. It was very clean and I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the cabin behind the main house, where there is a separate bathroom. It's quiet and comfortable. It only takes 6 minutes to drive to Biei station and convenient stores. A sudden snow overnight made the view outside the cabin breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. We are very surprised that simple local vegetables can be cooked so well. The host must be a good chef!

The staff was really nice, it's a great place for meeting people with huge common space The rooms are nice too, the onsen is nice (there's two) and you're really close to the natural park on foot. You can go to the blue pond and the waterfall on foot too but if you want to there's a bus goin from the hostel to the blue pond, then Biei.

One of a kind experience residing deep in the Biei wilderness, while at a stone throw distance from one of the prettiest flower farms in Biei. Excellent fresh breakfast with home-grown tomatoes, comfortable bed. Even a massage chair in the living room.

The location is very nice except for that you need to take a taxi from the JR station to get there. The guest house hosts couple are friendly and helpful. The scenery is exceptional. Breakfast and dinner are good.

Yoshiko-san and her husband are very friendly and accommodating so hopefully you have time to chat with her! Breakfast was good. Backyard is very pretty. Location is pretty good, just on the outskirts of Biei.

Hotel is rather old, but is clean. Just a few mins walk to the waterfall. Dinner was sumptuous. Great that the hotel has a shuttle bus.
