Nestled in the beautiful mountains and surrounded by untouched nature, Shirogane Park Hills features natural hot spring baths, a fitness center and a relaxation massage salon. Many facilities! There’s an indoors pool, arcade, gym and even a karaoke bar, albeit, only open for groups. The onsen is gender segregated and open all day except during the cleaning hours.
Biei Shirogane no Yu is located in the Shirogane Onsen district in Biei, 25 mi from Asahikawa and 16 mi from Furano. Free private parking is available on site. This is a great place to stay in the Biei area - if you have your own transport. The common lounge / kitchen areas are great and the rooms are comfortable enough - we stayed in Japanese tatami style rooms. Fukiage open air onsen is a short drive up the road and in good weather the views up to the Daisetzusan national park are beautiful.
Yumoto Shirogane-Onsen Hotel offers tranquil Japanese-style rooms, hot spring baths and Japanese cuisine, while free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. Natural onsen very nice, both indoor and outdoor. Free transportation to town is a great service, both drop off and pickup. Very much appreciated.
Offering a restaurant and free bikes, Adagio Hokkaido is surrounded by beautiful forests in Biei. Free 5-minute shuttles from JR Biei Station can be arranged upon advance request. The room is very clean and spacious, giving me a feeling of being home. The pension is surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful atmosphere.
Offering free WiFi and a barbecue, Ritz Garden Niji is located in Biei, beside Shikisai-no-Oka. Asahikawa is 17 mi from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Beautiful seanery comfortable and clean. This place is excellent that we can see the rainbow flower from our room. -Breakfast at best, with inadequate utensils for serious cooking.. My kid is very happy and he said this place lis home sweet home . The host is very nice.😍😍
Located in Biei, Hotel Coro Coro provides accommodations with air conditioning and access to a garden featuring seasonal flowers. Complimentary WiFi is provided. Rooms are clean, cozy and tidy. The owner is a very friendly and kind grandma who greets us warmly all the time, and even helps us with our heavy luggages! We enjoyed our breakfast everyday, the local produced vegetables and fruits are especially fresh and sweet. The place is conveniently located close to Biei town, just a few minutes drive by car. Will definitely stay here again on our next travel to Biei!
It's a beautiful place that is best visited during summer where the air is cool and the sun is bright and the fields are lush and welcoming. I rented an electronic bicycle and loved riding it through the fields of Biei - it was such a beautiful place. The Shirahige waterfall and bluepond is kinda small and far out but still worth taking a look if you are around the area and drive. Public transport to the 2 place are quite terrible because the JR train schedule does not align with the bus timing at all. I will blog and vlog more about my trip on my blog if I have time.
There are so many scenic lookouts and tourist places in the area. Farms are absolutely beautiful and driving on a road to mount Tokachi (Blue pond is also on the way) has good view as well. Cycling is also nice in summer season, but I recommend to rent a car if you are with kids or elder person since there are so many hills to climb :)
Utterly breathtaking place to take in the sights, taste the wonderful produce, and enjoy the hospitality of its people !!!!!! Awesome cycling... Especially along route 966 and furano national highway 237
Our happiest time was able to visit Blue Pond and also the patchwork flower farm Wish we had more days in Biei. Local trains and buses are far too few and infrequent. We took train to Asahikawa to have lunch and dinner and then back to Biei where we stayed
The area around Biei was very beautiful, with plenty to see and do. We went to Asahidake Onsen from there. You could also easily get to a city (Asahikawa) if needed. Biei town itself is rather workaday and restaurants were limited, but this was not a surprise.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and made a great host. Breakfast was very simple but healthy food! Our whole family enjoyed it. We stayed in a little cabin that was separate from the main building. It had a small attic that could fit one person. That was very exciting for our boy. There was a small picnic table and bench outside our cabin. In the morning. It was nice to just sit there and feel the morning breeze. The place is run as a B&B style. The whole place was very peaceful and quiet. Although it's just next to the road, you won't be able to tell at all as it's not a major road and there aren't many cars going past. The location is close to the attractions around Biei.
Adagio Villa is a wonderful property. The architecture of the villa is really amazing and it is very comfortable. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. He speaks great English, too. The location is amazing! The villa is surrounded by trees and the view from the windows is private and peaceful. Walking around the property, you can see the Biei countryside and watch the sunset over the hills. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
The location is excellent. We unknowingly parked just next to the hotel as there was a nice parking area, we only realised the hotel is just next to where we parked when we checked out the local map again. This makes it easy for us to unload our luggage. The room is also huge for Japan standards, with space for a nice living area where we had our meals. The breakfast is also really good even though the variety is not as much.
2min walk to the waterfall. Blue pond is a short drive away. There's nothing much to do in Shirogane except the blue pond & falls. Given the poor hotel options in Shirogane, I would suggest staying in other parts of Biei where there are better accommodation choices.
The host of this hotel is so nice. He picked us up at the station and took us to the photo tour. We enjoyed a lot during the journey. The room is clean and wide！The host also cooked wonderful breakfast which only cost 500 yen per person！I will come back here again！
Beautiful photo are displayed. Bread and milk are served as breakfast. Both of them are locally made and very delicious. Bathtub is available. Comfortable stay in Biei.
Cutest little bed and breakfast that’s a close 15 minute walk away from Biei station! Yoshiko is so kind, makes you feel right at home and cooks a delicious breakfast.
The hostel is located in an old and a little bit run down old onsen hotel. it's old but gives the place a special charme. staff is super nice and helpful.
Good quality self-contained holiday accommodation can be hard to find in Hokkaido, but Stay in Biei is excellent.
Comfortable and relaxing stays in Biei. Great dinner.
Many facilities! There’s an indoors pool, arcade, gym and even a karaoke bar, albeit, only open for groups. The onsen is gender segregated and open all day except during the cleaning hours.
