House and environment are excellent. Comfort and clean. Supermarket MaxValu is 3-minutes driving away. Komono is about mid-point between Kyoto and Nagoya, around 1 hour driving to Kyoto/Nagoya. 大根羽園 Train station is about 100 meters away, kids will love to see train passing through. People who stay in house might hear sound of railway track when train passing by. The house is next to 7-11 convenient store, this is good when you need food and beverage. Sometime there is noisy motors stop by in the late night but not an issue to us.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They explained everything really well and went out of their way to help us with everything. The room was beautiful. It was also really clean and tidy and in a traditional Japanese style, with a private bath on the balcony. The public bath was also really nice and there were lots of places in the hotel to chill and relax. There‘s also a great view on the top floor.

I was expecting ordinary cheap accommodation, but I got a pleasant stay in an old Japanese house. Bathroom and toilet outside the room, but extremely clean and comfortable. You can have breakfast or dinner in the bistro next door. There are tea plantations around, a beautiful environment. In the category of "cheap accommodation", it is absolutely exceptional.

Very nice and very well organised. We brought our own food but used the BBQ facilities and we had a great evening. Our kids loved the atmosphere. We recommend:-)
