Great hotel within 5 minutes from Himeji station. Takes 20 minutes to walk to Himeji Castle, also around 20 mins to get to Harima No Kuni Sosha Shrine. Lots of shops and places to eat nearby. The room was very clean and bed comfortable.

The hotel is very close to the station, but the room is very quiet. I'm not sure if the staff speaks English - my modest knowledge of Japanese was enough for communication. The young employee, a trainee, spoke Japanese that was understandable to me and she was very positive and hospitable. The names of the dishes at breakfast are written only in Japanese. I've never stayed in a hotel with a ladies' floor, so out of curiosity I booked a room there. Luckily, there was no riot of pink, haha. Upon check-in, I received a ladies' amenity set. There is also a table mirror with lighting in the room. Very convenient! The room is quite big, a comfortable table lamp.
