The people were honestly amazing. The owner was super accommodating and the community seemed tight knit and close. There are card games and although in Japanese there is Uno and ludo on the switch. It's surrounded by lush green mountain ranges and a river/rivers around town. The people were amazing and extremely accommodating. There's an amazing cafe/restaurant , bar and you can write on the window. You basically leave a little piece of you on the hotel window.

The host went above and beyond his call of duty in assisting me obtaining a shipping company after I ended up unable to proceed with my cycling trip due to the many steep inclines in the Daigo, Ibaraki region. The cycling trip was cut short but I gained the chance to find the Daigo hospitality, care, true to heart and friendliness of the locals.
