The location is excellent with subway access nearby and tourist attractions that are walkable. The home is newly remodeled and the owner did a fantastic job of decorating and providing all the amenities you need for an extended stay. The owner is very responsive, communicative, and caring. The home was largest enough for a family of 5 and extremely clean. It felt like being at home, while in Kyoto!

We loved the house. It is equipped with all the modern facilities and still true to the traditional Japanese structure and ambience. The garden with a small stream was extremely beautiful and zen. It was only 2 min walk to the metro and bus stops, easy walking distance to all the nice temples in higashiyama, and there were many restaurants nearby. It was a fantastic stay. The host was very friendly and quick to answer all of our questions. We will definitely come back again next time we are in Kyoto. Thank you so much.

I loved this hotel!
I loved this hotel!!! The service was outstanding. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The location was perfect - close to town but not in town. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. Close to the train station as well. I will certainly stay here on my next trip to Kyoto.
