This hotel is in a convenient location next to the train station and a Lawson convenience store. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to be able to get breakfast and a dinner bento box at the hotel as there are not really any dining options nearby.

The staff was very accommodating, I arrived after the normal check-in hours but they arranged to leave the key at the front desk for me. The staff made alot of effort to provide information in English as well.

Owen, our friendly host, was prompt in answering questions before our stay. He cooked an excellent dinner for us - garden salad - figs with cheese, freshest sashimi (5 types!), yummy kumano beef sukiyaki. He whipped up a super breakfast too. As we were going to Wakayama (which is his home town) the following day, he recommended places for our lunch (ramen) and dinner (omasake set). Huge comfortable rooms is a bonus!
