Great guesthouse, very nice owner, the bedroom was simply but nicely decorated. The room was huge and beds very comfortable. We could use the washing machine for free which is not often the case in other guesthouses in Japan

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!

We stayed for just one night, but everything was perfect, exactly what we needed to rest during our trip. The place was very tidy and spotlessly clean. Wonderful welcome and a lovely welcome detail, which we really appreciated. Great recommendations for dinner and breakfast as well. We hope to return with more time and better weather to explore the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

Everything is great! Amazing place at a beautiful historical street near the river with mountain views. Shogo and Miu are spectacular hosts and they made our stay even more pleasant and easy.

The area was beutiful with some lovely walks. Great for a relaxing time. The host realy went above and beyond. I don't think there is a walkable shop but the hotel is also a restaurant.

The best Japanese breakfast that we have had. Lovely owners. A variety of teas and coffee provided. Good bike storage. Very handy for train to Koyasan. Good bakery opposite. Great yakitori restaurant nearby.

The house is extremely clean although is a aged japanese style house. The heating is sufficient in the room and living area. Staircase is a bit steep so if the group have elderly or very young is not suitable to stay upstairs. The stay in manager is very friendly and thoughtful. Very clear instruction was given to us on parking location. We are happy to have found this accommodation for our 2 night stay which we have amber time to enjoy the cherry blossom in Mount Yoshino.
