I loved my stay at Shiokaze rider house. It was right on the Henro path. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. We used the phone translator app! I was able to purchase a meal there that I cooked myself and also a cold beer~ so convenient not to have to go out again after a long day of walking. My room was comfortable. The other guests were friendly also. Excellent spot!

Sakura-san was wonderful. Location right near the ferry and on the shikoku88 Henro path. Comfortable room and view of the marina. Easy walking to restaurants and convenience store. Included breakfast was fantastic. Also visited the nearby onsen which was really good.

The private onsen with sea view was amazing. The room itself was nice as well, it was a small tatami room and there's also a balcony next to the bath. We had dinner at the restaurant which was good and very reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. In the hallway and from outside it's visible that everything is a bit older already, but that didn't bother us, the room and bath are well maintained and renovated I assume.
