The hotel ist supercool and very modern. Only the internet on the 3rd floor could be better. But you can use the restaurant as workspace. The employees were perfect ! They event explained all the busses an ferries . And marked it on a printed plan. Super nice staff! Ishigaki I'll be back !

I liked that you can get around in short time and still have a big variety of things you can do. I was there in Feb and no watersports was possible for me as it was too cold. Went to Karibe for a walk and to Iriomote for a bike ride.

A beautiful island, which is surprisingly big as it takes about 3 hours / 120km to drive the ourter circumference. Once you get outside of the main town it is exceedingly quite, with beachtiful beaches and countryside. A car is a must! The main town has easy access by boat to other remote islands. Taketomi was only about 15 minutes away, with stunning beaches, a good bike rental service with shuttle bus from the port and ox-cart rides!

Ishigaki has a lot to offer. It's small enough that you can see it all in one stay but it's also varied to make you want to come back. The North coast is unspoiled. The beaches are never crowded.Some like Yonehara have showers. You can relax and refresh. It's an ideal place for families or couples. There is a wide range of eateries and lovely souvenirs like shells, textiles, cosmetics and tofu chips!

Ishigaki is a great place to enjoy the beach, water activities, exploring, and nature. Kabira Bay and Hirakubozaki offer beautiful views and are unmissable! Another great thing is that there are many islands around and it's very easy to get to them for extra activities and exploring (I visited Taketomi and Iriomote and both were awesome). Buses are ok for getting around, but renting a car is advisable. For maximum convenience staying in the city center would be best, near the ferry port and numerous restaurants and shops. I stayed in Maesato and it was good too, but had to take the bus everyday to catch a ferry or dine out.

From $64 per nightThe property is in the middle of Kabira Bay village, close to all the restaurants of the small town. The hotel and room was really clean and comfortable. The owners were really kind and fixed the problem we had with the wifi, installing a repeater close to our room and it worked. We loved looking at the stars from the rooftop of the hotel, absolutely breathtaking (they have a bench at the roof terrace to enjoy the view). Advisable to rent a car as public transportation is very limited and beaches are a bit faraway.

The dining area with large windows and beautiful wooden tables, and a veranda became a hub where we mingled with other guests and made new friends. It overlooks the garden with the pool and the sea and as the name says perfect to watch sunsets. Location on the island is perfect especially if you like to be close to nature.

Nice location. Quiet. Maybe too quiet because of Covid-19 of course. Food at the restaurant was extremely good. Service was perfect. Room was perfect, great size, nice view and super clean! Hotel offer a lot of interesting and lovely activities (a bit pricey tho). I got a great time for sure. Definitely recommend to get a rental car to facilitate the island visit.

They offer many little extras for free. You can borrow bicycles. The lounge area is very nice, with free drinks and a selection of interesting picture books. Almost as close to the beach as the ANA Intercontinental, but for a fraction of the price. The staff were very helpful when we had questions about the local area.

Really nice hotel, near a lovely sand beach with amazing water. The swimming pool is great, and the Kupukupu restaurant inside the hotel serves great food at a decent price. The staff is always nice and here to help (be that to book a taxi, rent a car, etc.). We've had a great time staying there!

The beach was walking distance away and in general the hotel was very large and offered a lot of utilities that made it a very nice stay.
