This is an incredible place to stay. It's large and spacious for bigger parties. There is everything you might need for a multi-day stay. Parking is ample and a grocery store and conbini walking distance away + a fantastic grocery store 5 min drive. But the real highlight was the house itself. You feel like you are staying in a museum. It's a piece of art - both inside and out in the garden. I wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed here to go to Ghibli park by car, do some hiking in incredible spots, and visit Inuyama. It was a great base for that. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating to everything. I hope we can come back again.

Super good value for the quality, size, and condition of the room. I do wish the TV supported netflix or video casting as it's essentially otherwise just a piece of decor for non-Japanese guests. Love the abundance of free parking and the nearby public bath. This was my second time staying here, and if I'm ever back in this area I would definitely do it again!

Very close to the station. The included breakfast was good, but not great. Didn't get to experience the hot bath, but nice that there is one. Had a smoking room as a non-smoker, but didn't notice a strong smokey smell.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL shared bath. Everything was perfectly clean everywhere. If you're uncomfortable with a shared bath setting, there's solo showers available. I didn't know my room was a smoking room, but the smell wasn't so strong that it bothered me. Despite being late, I was greeted kindly. The owners were super sweet and fun to chat with. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite stay in Japan so far.
