The staff were very friendly and several spoke excellent English making communication for us far easier as our Japanese is quite basic. The room was clean and modern.

Located a 7-minute drive from JR Karuizawa Train Station, Chisun Inn offers a Japanese breakfast. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, a satellite TV and a bold red bathroom. Nice location with a Lawson around the corner. Clean room and facilities. Used the kitchen to warm and eat home cooked food. Enjoyed the stay. Recommended.

Featuring a restaurant and a bar, Twin-Line Hotel Karuizawa Japan is situated in Karuizawa, 700 metres from Karuizawa Station and 17 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park. My second visit to this hotel - wonderful design and a short walk from Karuizawa station. The nearby bus stop is also convenient for exploring the area, nearby waterfalls and Kusatsu onsen. A highlight is definitely the restaurant for course dinner and delicious breakfast options.

My spouse and I are vegetarians. So we were thrilled to see so many vegetarian options available. The variety of freshly baked breads was outstanding!

Karuizawa Prince Hotel East는 카루이자와 역 남부 출구에서 도보로 10분 거리에, 카루이자와 프린스 쇼핑 플라자에서 불과 500m 거리에 있는 숙박 시설입니다. 호텔은 스파 센터, 바를 보유하고 있으며, 무료 Wi-Fi를 제공합니다. 숙소에서 바로 스키를 탈 수 있습니다. 바닥 난방이 되어 매우 따뜻했다. 침실 하나가 분리돼 있고 넓었다. 저녁식사를 그릴 식당에서 했는데 정말로 맛있었다.

가루이자와 중심부에 자리 잡고 있는 Hotel Cypress는 실내 및 실외 욕조, 사우나, 마사지 서비스를 제공합니다. JR 가루이자와 역이 호텔에서 도보로 15분 거리에 있으며, 구내에 무료 주차장이 마련되어 있습니다. 발코니가 딸린 객실은 에어컨, 무료 WiFi, 서양식 침대를 갖추고 있으며, 현대적인 일본식 디자인으로 꾸며져 있습니다. The room we stayed in (entry price one) was really spacious so perfect for us four. Actually the hotel used to be apartment hotels so there is a kitchenette which is not furnished (no plate, cutlery) but with a large fridge/freezer and a microwave. So quite handy if you don’t want to eat outside all the times. There is a onsen which is a plus. It is actually a good 20min walk from the station and there is nothing around the hotel but there is a shuttle bus every hour - when we stayed in January. But taxi is less than 1000jpy from the station so ok if you can fill one! The hotel actually rent skiwear for free! And snow-boots as well. The breakfast buffet is quite Japanese and great for those who like Japanese food - our case. For non Japanese, it is ok but a bit limited. Also, if you are coming for a ski trip, the shuttle bus brings you to the ski station where you can rent ski gear and ski passes. The domain is quite small so would not stay more than a weekend but you still can have fun. Quite family oriented. There is a children park at the foot of the station with slide, giant trampoline for 1200 joy great for little ones.
