We stayed for 1 night at Hote Metropolitan Kawasaki when we arrived in Tokyo. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room is spacious by Japanese standards. Even the toilet and bath has so much room for our stuff and do not feel cramped at all. Breakfast was included in our rate. The breakfast spread was more than enough and we loved everything - eggs, bacons, sausage, cereals, soup, salad... it has everything and more. I truly believe we got our money's worth. Even the staff - couldn't say anything negative, they were accommodating and helpful.

Good location, not far from JR line station and Keikyu Kawasaki station, in a walking distance. Shops and big deapartment stores in surrounding. They offer free coffee and ramen at night time, yakult in the morning and all time free ice cream. The room was spacious and clean. Good location 40 minutes by train to tokyo Ginza, 10 minutes to Yokohama, 20 minutes to Haneda airport.

Very modern hotel, close to Don Quijote, and Kawasaki Station. Very few hotels offer reclining beds and this one offers a nice private bath and shower. Staff is great, my Japanese is not the best but they did try to make effort to understand my requests and speak English.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—right next to the JR station, which made traveling so convenient. The facilities were very good, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The overall experience was excellent. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Kawasaki City was a very convenient place to stay.

Kawasaki City was a very convenient place to stay. The location is excellent if you want easy access to both Tokyo and Yokohama, with good train connections and plenty of shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The area felt practical, lively, and easy to navigate. Although not as scenic or tourist-focused as places like central Tokyo, Kyoto, or Yokohama waterfront, it is very useful as a base for transport, shopping, and short stays. I especially appreciated the convenience of the station area and the variety of food options. Also, the easy access to the bus or train to the airport, you just take your pick! I loved that.

Good facilities, but limited airport service. The shuttle schedule did not match our flight and the passenger limitation of 10, first come first serve is not a standard I expect from an international hotel serving the airport.

Nice place to stay easy to reach by metro from Haneda.

Nice place to stay easy to reach by metro from Haneda. Easy to get to Tokyo and other interesting locations like Kamakura. Considerably less expensive than staying in Tokyo. Feels like a real Japanese city not touristy. Not a place to go if you are into big city commotion. The open air folk museum is excellent.

Breakfast was excellent. Not big room for breakfast. But good view and good meal. Hotel is located riverside. (Tama River) very quiet area. Local did cycling / walking / fishing / crabbing at river. A really enjoyed morning walking at long river side. Very safe area. No worry for anything.

I really liked Kawasaki.

I really liked Kawasaki. I saw less tourists (I know we were tourists) and it was nice to be away from big crowds of tourists. We enjoyed going to the local eateries close by. Japan is a beautiful country and I felt Kawasaki had a lot of the quaint lively city alley ways. I loved that there was a lot of places open late. It felt safe for us overall.

We were attending a event in Kawasaki so that is why we stayed there. We didn't really do much sight-seeing in Kawasaki. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama. We enjoyed the many shopping and restaurants around Kawasaki Station.

Rex-Inn is a male capsule hotel, about 5 minutes on foot from central Kawasaki and the station. It mainly caters to locals, and less so to tourists. This is noticeable with little English and no tourism information at hand at all, they won't hold your luggage for free either. That said, it is a very cost-effective way of staying central. The shared bath and sauna are very enjoyable. WiFi works fine and staff will help you as much as possible.

Excellent location and value for money. The hotel is 6-8 mins walking distance to 2 train stations, JR Kawasaki and Keikyu-Kawasaki, for travel to Tokyo or Yokohama. From Haneda Airport, you can reach the hotel in 30mins using either train or bus. Don Quijote, Ichiran ramen, Komeda's Coffee, and several convenience stores are less than 5 mins away.

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel before leaving Japan, the hotel is located close to the Hanada Airport and there's a good free shuttle service to the airport and Kawasaki station. The hotel and the rooms were very clean, the staff were very helpful and spoke English well.
