Beautiful location. Staff were lovely and super helpful. Loved everything about our stay and would definitely book again. We were four people amd travelled without a car. Caught the bus from Kiso Fukushima for ¥200 for 50 minute trip. Nice walks from the property although a car might give more flexibility.

We loved it here. The hosts are lovely and super helpful! Location is great because they pick you up and drop off anyway. Nice semi rural part of town. Great dinner option offered at their wee restaurant. Personal service, grilled wagyu and Shabu Shabu, fair price. Shared facilities was not something we usually book, but there was no issue at all, and everything was spotless. Highly recommend you book this and dinner. A really good option to mix in with less personal hotels in our trip. Great day trip to Narai Juku. There also took us to a nearby temple for the Sakura that up at night. And no tourists! Perfect. 🤩 Arigato.

The apartment was super clean and comfortable. You have a well equipped kitchen, laundry machine, dryer and even a bath tub. The owners are extremely nice and supportive. They picked us from the station upon arrival. On the way back we wanted to go on foot, but they came to pick the keys and brought us sandwiches and coffee!

What a beautifull place in the mountains. Meeting the owner felt like seeing an old friend again. Best dinner we had in 14 days and we never had a bad one but this was perfect

Amazing location, quiet and serene. Food was spectacular and the host was welcoming and very kind.

Eiichiro is the best host you can imagine. He prepared the house with a lot of lovely gestures such as welcome goodies from local producers and more. The house comes with a wonderful atmosphere and you can see and feel all the work Eiichiro has put in the renovation of this beautiful place. It was right on the Nanasendo Trail, the washer dryer was greatly appreciated and the traditional tatami mats were a nice surprise.

The room was clean and cozy, with everything I needed. I really enjoyed the sento—it was spotless, and everything was provided. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The drink bar was fantastic, and I became a big fan of the tea. The staff were polite and friendly. The location by the river was beautiful. Yukata and haori were also provided. I slightly regretted only being able to stay one night, as I was on the Nakasendo trail. I would have happily stayed longer.
