Situated in Kurobe, 700 metres from Kurobe Gorge, Yukai Resort Unazuki Grand Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I was upgraded to a large en-suite Japanese room. There were a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes to opt for at the buffet corner. Onsen is clean and has both indoor and outdoor pools. Location is a mere 3 mins walk to Unazukionsen station which makes it very convenient.
Located in Kurobe, less than 1 km from Kurobe Gorge, Kurobe UnazukiOnsen Togen provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and ski-to-door access. I absolutely loved the hospitality and the amazing staff at this hotel. Our room was spacious and offered beautiful views of the river. Conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the station. The onsen was incredible after a long day!
Ideally located just a 1-minute walk from Uozu Station, this hotel features spacious public baths, complimentary coffee services and free-use internet PCs at the business centre. Sauna at the 2nd floor is very good and could take rest after hard work and meeting. And privide free coffee at the lobby and you can enjoy free noodle during 9:30PM to 10:30PM at the 2nd floor restaurant.
Kurobe is a bit out of the foreign tourist destinations, and the village itself is a gem, perfect for relaxing days. The amazing Kurobe Gorge train Torokko is not to be missed! The train goes through the superb gorge, a very unique landscape in Japan.
it is a beautiful place to visit, the kurobe gorge is a must see! we had so much fun taking the scenary train to the top of the kurobe gorge. the hot spring hotel we stayed at was wonderful with good spread of dinner and breakfast buffet.
Largely unspoiled area in the Japanese Alps. The Alpine Trail was exciting, although expensive. Then the onsen and Torokko train were amazing. The Kurobe River is an unusual aqua blue with beautiful white rocks in a deep gorge. I want to go there again.
We added another night after we got there, because we wanted to make sure that we saw the Gorge (which was absolutely gorgeous). The village was quaint and quiet as we were early in the year. Not many spoke English there and we knew no Japanese, but people would find someone. The hotel had one person who had lived in Australia for 3 years and he was very helpful and friendly. He sent us to a restaurant that had an English speaker the one night when we did not have reservations at the hotel. The dinner that we did go to at the hotel had a 10 course dinner! Other dinners wore traditional apparel. The English speaker helped us to know what we were eating and went out of his way to get us answers to some of our questions.
We visited during spring for one night and was just right as most attractions are only open in summer. Was still quite cold but the hotel had amazing onsen’s so we could’ve stayed more just going to onsens everyday haha. Was still worth passing through/ as a stop over.
This is my 2nd visit to Kurobe onsen. My most favorite is the Torocco train climbing to the top of the mountains to view amazing changing colors leaves and picturesque landscape. The onsen quality of the area is just superb!
The food, service, and onsens adjacent the scenery was magic.
