Good place to learn about history, tragic atomic bombing...
Good place to learn about history, tragic atomic bombing events, Western culture in Nagasaki. People here are friendly. However, the roads in Nagasaki are sloping and not easy to find locations; and the weather is too hot in the summer, should wear comfortable shoes.

City of trams.
City of trams.
You can find the old trams as your transportation nowadays. You can feel and enjoy the historical tram.
You go here and there mostly by these trams, and it's quite easy.
A lot of Chinese-influenced food here in Nagasaki.
The must-go place to visit is everything connected to atomic bomb. Visit the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, you will see, feel and understand what happened at that. And why we should banned the usage of atomic bomb.

Nagasaki food is always fresh and great. Eat Shippoku ryoori. Getting around in Nagasaki is easy using street cars. Nagasaki offers interesting information on many historical sites. Visit those sites in person such as Atomic Bomb Museum, Dejima Museum, Glover's Mansion, etc.

I spent only 2 nights in Nagasaki and wish I'd had more time. It is a big city with much to see and do. Our ferry to the coal island was cancelled do to windy weather and we were called and refunded which was nice. We spend a lot of time at the museum and found it very interesting. We went to the port, where we saw the Queen Elizabeth boarding and had lunch at a nice Chinese restaurant very close on the 5th floor - very popular! There is a street for shopping for souvenirs very close too!
Nagasaki has much more than I saw and wish I can go again!

Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm.
Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm. I love the scenic view of Nagasaki port. People here are very warm and friendly, and it's a city full of nostalgic vibe. Besides that, Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum has very modern and minimalistic architecture style. I like Champon a lot and have it almost everyday during my stay in Nagasaki.
The hotel is within 15 mins walk away from Nagasaki station. The walk is manageable as you need to walk along the malls. The room size is manageable and the breakfast spread is awesome. Free ramen supper as usual. There is also an onsen, massage chair and free ice-pop (PM)/yakult (AM) at the 14th floor. 7-11 is directly located in the same hotel building. U can use your room card to access within the hotel lobby. The hotel is also located near the tram station. Recommend to get day pass to enjoy unlimited rides around the city.
Really interesting place to get in. It is kind of pansion where the owner lives on the first floor and guests on the floors above. Owner is English speaking, pretty friendly and polite, provided with information about sights around Nagasaki. Hotel location is 20 mins from Nagasaki station - not that far.
I also really liked onsen.
Nice, comfortable hotel in a great location for seeing the sights of Nagasaki. The staff were lovely, the automated check-in process was easy and the facilities were all I could have asked for. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that.
Great rooms and bathroom, lovely decor. Hotel in good position to see Nagasaki and get to/from Shinkansen.
Excellent, small Japanese Restaurant, but disappointingly other facilities not open. No gym or other facilities.
1. Breakfast was excellent, with the local Nagasaki speciality foods available.
2. Room was spacious, & the amenities were very high quality
3. Car parking was onsite, and reasonably priced given the hotel's location
