We had a wonderful stay at Hichu House and wished we could have stayed longer than just four days. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, and thoughtful in every detail. The space itself is beautifully designed, showing how much can be achieved with simplicity. The mattresses were very comfortable, and everything needed for a pleasant stay was provided: drinking water, umbrellas, toiletries, a kettle, a washing machine, and a cozy common area where guests can enjoy their own meals. A special highlight was the food. It was absolutely delicious and prepared with great care. We informed the host in advance about our dietary restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian), and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Every day, she carefully explained the ingredients and preparation of each dish, and even sourced special gluten-free products to prepare meals for us. We were genuinely touched by the effort—thank you so much for that! Communication was seamless, as the owner speaks fluent English (and Korean). The common/eating area offers a beautiful window view and is a lovely place to start the day with breakfast or relax later on. The entire accommodation is spotless, peaceful, quiet, and incredibly cozy; perfect for unwinding. The location is also ideal for exploring the northern part of Okinawa with ease. Hichu House has a unique charm, blending Korean-inspired elements with Japanese hospitality, reflecting the owners’ backgrounds beautifully. Highly recommended! We would absolutely love to return.

What a gem! I wasn’t sure about to this place when I booked, but it was excellent! Room was very clean, quality beds and linen, great shower (hot) and toilet (in a separate room to the shower), kitchen available as well as washer and dryer in the room. We also liked opening up then window and having a fly mesh screen. Plenty of parking and short drive to the Nago foreshore but plenty of places to eat within walking distance too. The 7 eleven next door was super handy too. Very well run place with the self service check-in working flawlessly. Highly recommend!

We arrived before 4 pm and were still allowed to check in. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The facility is very new and modern. We used the sauna every evening and loved it. Despite the bad weather, we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this accommodation, especially for couples. We would definitely come back.

Treehauses quality was exceptional, the design, cleanness, and hospitality of the staff felt like a 5 star hotel even though it was located in the middle of the deep forest. River and illuminations made the atmosphere very special.

Very clean and spacious apartment with all that you need. Very quite. Friendly manager. The daughter of the family showed great concern regarding my bicycle. Free snacks and drinks for those who like that, though I did not consume any.

I only stayed in my hotel because it was raining but i definitely wish I stayed longer (I was only there for one full day— the other two I travelled to and from my hotel) but I really wish I booked a longer stay. It’s not as busy as Naha or other popular areas so for me it was quiet and peaceful. I wish I could have visited some local attractions such as the pineapple park but unfortunately it rained on the day I wanted to go and I didn’t really feel like doing that in the rain. But I’d recommend 2-3 full days here!

Nago has fantastic beaches.

Nago has fantastic beaches. Most of them not advertised enough. However the restaurants are small (at least where we were...at Yugaf Inn) and they dont seem to bother serving forighners. Some even have notes out on the door. Shocking And that is a big one. Plus nobody speaks english so that makes things hard.

we went in rainy season (late may) so not the smartest of us. however the one sunny day we had we went to the beach and how wonderful. the beauty of okinawa especially up north is unparalleled and when you get to experience it firsthand it is breathtaking. i wish we could have gone to yanbaru! I recommend a couple things: -dye workshop at BOTANICA (indigo and natural dye of natural fibres clothing shawl bag or something you bring) run by a family near the Nakijin castle (also great recommendation) -Biking along the coast (its not for the faint hearted but its so rewarding) -nago museum (great history and natural history emphasizing unity of nature and people and cultural history of pre japan ryuku kingdom -okinawa soba! satchan soba is great, get the pork rib or sanmainiku -captain kangaroo hamburger for GIANT JUICY BURGER -fishing port teishoku restaurant for tuna or mixed fish don -hanhanmoomani korean restaurant in central nago, sosososos good and most friendly staff! -inno coffee shop -nago municipal market (grocery store and a delicious sweets store beside it) -ryujin shrine(osehara ryujin on google maps): stray cats supported by people and organizations in nago, hermit crabs with a shell shrine, the most peaceful a mystical area -hubcycle okinawa (bike rental, contact them because they say closed wednesday but they are actually open )

I like about the location of the Hotel, there are a few restaurants and Mc Donalds in walkable distance. Hotel have their own private car parking tower by charging 700 yen for overnight. If it is fully occupied there are other co operated car parking lot charging 400 yen overnight within 5 mins walking distance.

This was the second time we stayed. This time on our way to Naha airport. It is finw for a short stay but I wouldn't want to stay longer. We went to Gorilla Rock beach (15mins drive from the hotel) in the morning, which is a great spot for snorkling.

The lounge is a great place for kid and adult with free drinks. Kids can play the little fireworks which is also free. Buffet dinner is delicious and the traditional music players are nice. We have good time in the hotel.
