This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful and rare location. Wonderful food. Staff so sincere and helpful. Love this place so much we came from overseas visited it twice in less than four months. Must stay at least two nights.

As a Yuru Camp fan, one night near Lake Motosu or here at Koan is something you must do. Both dinner and breakfast were really good and a lot of food was provided. You can choose between JAP or AME breakfast. They have a lot of Yuru Camp merch, and got one room with a kotatsu attached to it, so the experience was awesome. Get to Lake Motosuko stop, and make sure to take their offer to give you a ride as Koan is really far from the closest bus station. They were kind enough to offer shuttle service with their own car, to and from Koan

Nicest hotel you’ll find in the area. Staff was amazing and extremely accommodating! I was given a ride to the nearby train station by one of the staff when they heard I was taking the bus. Delicious breakfast was provided as well. Onsen was great too! Can’t say enough good things about my stay!

Great value for a priceless experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival we were welcomed with warmth and superb hospitality. The room gives you a nostalgic feel from a 90’s traditional Japanese interior. Not to mention, a magnificent view of Mt. Most amazing self contained fully equipped place we’ve stayed. There were welcome packs (they had thought of everything) in both the kitchen and bathroom. Immaculately clean, modern and very comfortable. Projector screen in main room, tv in dining area, technology was out of this world. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
