It’s a beautiful old house of the Showa era, and it gives a real feeling for the culture of that time. It also has a few entirely modern conveniences which we were less interested in :-) but for people like us who really are interested in the Japan of the mid 20th century, it’s an absolutely delightful stay

Nice location with a Japanese style restaurant just across the street. Decent public bath, although a bit on the small side.

Located in Fukaura, a few steps from Furofushi Onsen, Koganezaki Furofushi Onsen has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Great outdoor onsen, right next to the sea. Amazing dinner. Great buffet breakfast. Bedroom was facing the sea. A really relaxing stay. Close to some amazing tourist walks.
