Everything. The journey/drive to Hyakunagaran from the airport. From entering the carpark, the welcoming staff, the reception and the 86sqm room with 2x queen size bed each right up to the roof top bath. These are the best physical spaces we did not expect (booked with only limited info). Importantly both wife and I were so relaxed that we will be back.

'Exceptional' by one word! I would even rate higher than 10, if possible. Charming location, incredible views to the ocean, excellent breakfasts and always smiling and supporting staff. Huge thanks! Naha downtown is about 45 min by taxi; nevertheless, worth travelling for this unique experience.

One of the highlights of our trip to Japan, everything about this property was spectacular and our host Shoto went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible, even driving us down to a local restaurant to make closing time.
