The location was close to the train station and the Akita dog museum. I only stayed overnight so I missed the chance to see Akita dogs, which I was looking forward to. We arrived late but the warm reception with a complimentary ramen, which is only availble from 7-9 pm, was a delight. The hotel is old but well maintained. The toilet and bath was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was comfortable and conducive to a good night sleep.

What a wonderful hotel - truly felt like a trip through time without the inconveniences of the “old”. Incredibly clean and incredible service, the hotel maintains the allure of past glories. The onsen was fantastic; the outdoor was especially suggestive under the rain. Really hope to come back very soon! Thank you :)
