Das Haus ist eine perfekte Mischung aus alter Schönheit und modernem Komfort. Der Garten ist wirklich wunderschön.

I had a lovely stay in this guesthouse and I can only recommend staying here! It is quite difficult to get here if you want to go by bus. But there is also the option of going by bicycle or calling a taxi. It’s definitely worth the trip. The owners are extremely friendly and the entire place and its surrounding nature are beautiful! I had two connected rooms for myself, breakfast and a balcony with the view of a ricefield and the forest. The town lays between a mountainchain. I unfortunately do not know if there are good hiking trails because I only stayed for one night but I can imagine the view is quite amazing. If you want a nice view and a place to calm down for a short or longer time then I would recommend this place. You can wash your clothes, there are towels provided, there are even drinks and Cup Noodles, though you have to pay for the drinks and noodles except of course for the water, of course. The prices are good though. There was also a variety of free coffee, tea and spices for cooking on the stove. I arrived by bus from Niimi. I would recommend getting in at the second station after the one at the train station and make sure to ask if they are going to Chiya and you have enough cash with you. I went until Furuyabashi. It’s only less than a handful of minutes from there. But please look at the bus plan beforehand. The bus doesn’t go very often. Going there by bicycle is probably more common and easier. I think a longer stay would be very relaxing and nice but it was amazing anyways!!
