The unit is huge for our family of 5. Kitchen is well equipped so we could enjoy dinner at home. Has an outdoor terrace area with bathtub and sauna but it was cold that night so we didnt get to use it. Beautiful sunrise from the apartment.

Modern facility. Very close to the train station. Kei, the man who greeted me, was very nice, and speaks excellent English. He also explained the history of the shrine to me. This is a great affordable option near Kochi, and it is easy to take the train in.

Hotel is on a hill overlooking a river. Looks almost like a castle in Europe. I think all the rooms face the river; and the views are great from room balconies. Breakfast buffet is very good, with Japanese and Western food selections.

I highly recommend this place. It is charming and full of authenticity. We felt very confortable thanks to the owner’s amazing hospitality. The house is 20 min drive to Kochi downtown. It is nestled in the country side surrounded by rice field and nature.
