Very short walk from Shiwachuo station. A wonderful and affordable alternative to hotels in Morioka or Hiraizumi. Our booking was for the room only, with a shared bathroom. Still, to our surprise, our room had a spacious toilet. There is also a Japanese bath in the hotel. The breakfast was included in the price, which is a big buffet with lots of variety. Great value for money. An oasis, a little gem.

The Inn keeper is a lovely lady who always looked after me. Coffee is flat! The hot bath was wonderful and you'll always have it for yourself! Toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, towels and the likes were provided. I also had fun browsing through the magazine corner. The Ryokan is approx. a 20 minutes walk from the station (personally I enjoyed that after the long train ride) and 7Eleven, and 5 mins from the nearest Lawson's. There were a few restaurants nearby that had good meals. All in all, I was looking for a moderately priced place to stay and found a friendly home. Thank you!

- Amazing owner - Comfortable room with plenty of space for suitcases and bags - Beautiful building - Very clean - Weekly Takoyaki making activity/dinner on Sundays, I had an incredible time with everyone and it was delicious - Fully equipped kitchen - Quiet area with a supermarket near (5 min walk) - Very clear information at check-in thanks to the binders Overall everything was perfect and I felt very welcomed.
