Maybe we stayed for 3 nights in a twin room, The hotel gave us a spacious corner room. Our luggages are lay flat all the time which is quite rare in Japan. Breakfast is very nice, I recommend you try the yogurt (thicker side with very mild sour taste) If you are driving, temporarily park your car in front of the hotel and check with the receptionist whether their designated parking lot is still available. It costs 900 900yen per day which the lot will be temporarily bound to you. You may come in and out anytime you want. Opposite, there are two Konbini and a local specialty shop.

The room was really nice with a lot of space and baths were great (specialty after a long day).

Great location, room size was good for Japan, very clean and after a long day visiting the smart TV was great to relax in the room.

The hotel is in a moderate location, the room is surprisingly large, the room is neat and clean, and the bathroom supplies are above the standard. It is highly recommended!

Hotel Ace Morioka was a very convenient place to stay. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the town center, which made exploring and finding food incredibly easy. The room was comfortable, check‑in was smooth, and everything worked as expected. The highlight for me was definitely the breakfast buffet. It was surprisingly impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options and great quality overall. A fantastic way to start the day.

Close proximity to Expressway and easy access within 0.3miles. Free car parking on site in a large car park. Spacious room with all facilities. Onsen was a godsend and very much appreciated.

Route inn is always a great option. The rooms are always clean, small and comfortable. The staff were always helpful. Great onsen and breakfast.

The friendliness of all the staff (reception and housekeeping) The proximity to the train station The well-appointed room with enough space for Japan First time staying at this chain and it was great. The only downside was that there was only one elevator, which could sometimes be crowded during peak hours, but its speed made up for it. The washing machines and dryers were cleaned every day and were inexpensive (¥200 to wash and ¥100 for 30 minutes in the dryer).

The friendly staff were very patient with my clumsy Japanese. It was a special bonus to find an onsen style bathhouse on site. It was a really good one. The hotel is well situated near some large shops and lots of places to eat. My favourite was a barbecue at your table place. I had good beef plus a salad twice. Very tasty. It is near the Kanow, this restaurant. It was well located near the BRT station and the very helpful information office. Ofunato station. This location provided an excellent gateway to the beautiful Goishi Coast.  Without a car, there is a a local bus that takes only 30 minutes. But the last bus back to the hotel is at 2 pm. Take your walking shoes with you. All the trails are good, and there is also a coastal Trail to the famous Anotoshi iso rock formation. At Goishi beach you can have a seafood bowl while looking out the ocean.

Everything. Easy to find, nice and quiet, great facilities, excellent food, wonderful staff. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was a lovely big window which was so nice for fresh air. We will be back next time we’re in Japan.

Very easy to access once we'd figured out the route from the train station. Perfect little base for what we needed on our travels around Morioka and the surrounding area. Rooms were very clean and well kept, staff were more than happy to help and very patient with our slight language barrier, and the request for close rooms was fulfilled on check-in so we were very appreciative and enjoyed our little stayover!
