Although, we initially thought it to be strange staying in what looks like repurposed shipping containers, everyone in my group agreed that it was really comfortable, clean, and amenities were just what we wanted/needed! We are definitely staying there again?

Excellent breakfast - like eating at a gourmet restaurant. The location is a bit off the regular track, but if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place - this is it. A huge tatami floor room with a futon bed. A furo bath! Wonderful and helpful hosts.

The breakfast was great and free! The eggs were delicious. Coffee was also good and fresh. I entered a 5 minutes before 9:00 AM when it was closing, but the lady allowed me to eat. I ate quickly and thanked her for her flexibility.

A beautiful traditional building in a beautiful part of rural Japan. Around the stay the farmers can be seen working in the fields and close to the stay is a nice and small onsen which is definitely worth a visit in the evening. We were lucky, as we were visiting in the period when there were fireflies, which we were able to see on only a couple minutes walk from the stay (with thanks to the staff for recommending it to us and joining!). Highly recommended to stay here!

Owner waited until near midnight to check in- awesome
