White Elephant Sea Lodge, hotel in Malindi

Located along the sandy Malindi beaches, White Elephant Sea & Art Resort in the Marine National Park features 2 swimming pools overlooking the sea.

The white Elephant is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience! I stayed here for a few days after my safari and it was the perfect ending to an already amazing adventure. The hotel is set amidst a tropical jungle and outdoor art gallery, and is right on the Indian Ocean. Imagine having your meals right off the beach! Bamboo House B&B, hotel in Malindi

Located in Malindi, a 9-minute walk from Tropical Beach, Bamboo House B&B provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Very beautiful house with authentic furnishings and minimal and natural design elements. Peaceful and tranquil. The staff are very kind and welcoming. It's close to the beach so we walk there everyday and have lunch on the beach. It's a place to chill and rest. Local tuk tuks are around and easy to use. We arranged a taxi through the B&B to Mombasa train station and it went smoothly. Plus the house dog is adorable and very friendly. We can't think of anything we don't like and look forward to coming back soon.

This hotel is a true paradise, offering a tranquil atmosphere and the most incredible staff I've ever encountered. I was upgraded to an exceptionally clean and beautiful room, which felt out of this world. It's the best place to stay in Malindi, offering both safety and serenity. My experience was fantastic; I can't think of anything negative to say. I loved the peacefulness, especially compared to other tourist-heavy spots. The hotel is affordable, and the food is delicious, with an amazing breakfast.

Easy town to move around. Not that many pedestrian walkways. From my last visit(2023) there is an upgrade though. Need for more coffee places. The beach areas could be more cleaner. For coffee and lovely delicious snacks,go to Malaika restaurant opposite the Buntwani Beach Front. Walking is the healthiest way to move around Malindi, just don't give a visual contact with the boda boda taxis( you will ride unwillingly!) Avoid the Tikka chicken with coloured(yellow) spicing.

The information on Booking.com about Malindi is an accurate representation of what I found on site. I visited the following places: Galana Shopping Centre Vasco da Gama Pillar Portuguese Chapel Malindi Marine National Park. I occasionally ate out from a wide range of restaurants in the city centre. It was quite easy to move around Malindi and I currently have no experience of places to avoid while in Malindi.

Laid back lifestyle, great beaches, wonderful Italian pizzas. Vasco Da Gama pillar and Portuguese chapel are right there. Museums need updating. Not a huge amount to do in Malindi but if you want to get out and about, Hell's Kitchen in Marafa is worth visiting. It is a mini mini Grand Canyon. Karibuni villas in Mambrui is also nice - clearest sea water you ever saw.

Bliss Home is very clean and comfortable. There are big windows in the bedroom and lounge room and sliding doors out to the verandah. Everything is new and modern and it is very safe. The rooms are cooled by fans. A cool breeze comes in to each room which is fabulous. It has everything you need and there are not many apartments in Malindi at this cheap price. It is very private. Than you Prudence!
