We were initially give a room that had a minor issue with the cable and then the head of guest relations assigned us to new room that had the best view on the whole property. We had a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean and the Party pool are! We were so sad to leave

The staff team was cordial, polite and friendly. The room service staff- Constance and Patrick (Grill bar waiter) were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to the beach. I booked an ocean view room and an upper floor room and got exactly that. The hotel had a Christmas pre-party which was just fantastic! The hotel had an evening live soft music during dinner which was lovely!

Tried out new food joints (Well, just one lol, Chop It in Nyali, perfect nyama!) Of course, the beach is always a win. IMO, Msa is always easy to move around, and the availability of Tuktuks is perfect although the cab drivers there negotiate prices a tad too much. Hiring a car for your stay is a plus for convenience. Be careful with your BNB bookings. Have someone check them prior to your checking in or just don't commit financially before seeing the rooms.

Initially we had a one day stay in Mombasa(Main land), we visited old town. Beautiful place(must see)- you will witness mix of various cultures accentuating one another . And lots of middle eastern pastry shops😊 . The old historic architecture is a must see by itself. I plan to go back again. After that we traveled to Diani beach via a ferry boat and some road travel. We stayed in Diani Beach, Swahili beach resort for 4 days. The resort was superb. Food was excellent. You can have any choice of cuisine, soak your feet in the beautiful Indian ocean, admire the palm trees and feel the warm breath on your skin. We also managed to visit the marina and went snorkeling. Loved it.

We really liked the city, especially the old town, the beach and the market. The food by the beach was great especially the seafood, we highly recommend Forodhani for lunch or dinner, Poco Loco for breakfast, Sarova has a great bar on the beach and Char-Choma serves quality affordable sea food platters.

We were able to visit the Old Town Mombasa for about 4 hours which was amazing!! The transportation in Mombasa, whether it was a Matatu or a Tuk-Tuk is a great experience!! Some of the restaurants are great, but not all of them.
