The cabin was in a beautiful location and was very clean. The staff were friendly. It was a perfect base to explore Kegety Pass and Kol Tor lake.

Our stay at Tazabek guesthouse was one of the highlights of our 3-week trip in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Aika was a superbly gracious host and, as her only guests at the time, we were accorded "special" treatment! :) We truly felt like one of the family, especially enjoying her three friendly dogs Gresha, Jambo and Raff. Breakfast was a delicious and satisfying spread! The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious, with glorious views of the mountains and surroundings. The guesthouse is 30 mins drive from the Kol Tor trailhead, a hike which we thoroughly enjoyed on our second day in Kegeti. We'd love to come back again someday. Highly recommended!
