Fantastic location right in the middle of the walled area and very near mural streets and chicken street. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Luggage storage onsite was very convenient.

The size of the room was a bit different to what I imagined in the pictures, however it was enough for one person. I liked the layout with the sofa, movable table and TV as well. The bidet was a nice touch and the daily price was worth the room I would say. The staff was also helpful when my key card wasn't working properly.

almost everything was on point, room impeccably clean and white, toiletries and beverages nice touch and reception staff one young chap and an elderly uncle were all very nice and provided good hospitality eg helping me write in Korean places I need to go using taxi.

Fortress is the reason for going here. And the French bakery right near the fortress gate entrance, pain mama - don't miss these! The rest of suwon, didn't really care for that much. If you like malls, check out starfield....

We loved our stay as it was close to everything we needed.

We loved our stay as it was close to everything we needed. Downloading apps like K.ride, Naver, Google Translate and Subway were very helpful. Taxi's arrived within 5 minutes or less and the subway system was great. We were very impressed with how clean the subway trains were and the stations. Our family really enjoyed Korea as a whole and the Suwon community.

Great area for those interested in traditional Korean...

Great area for those interested in traditional Korean chicken and fortresses. We arrived later than and left early, we’d love to come back and walk the fortress! The only problem we had was transportation…the Ubers would not pick us up to take us to our place so we had to figure out the subway and train, which worked, but took all day from Seoul.

We have been living in Korea for 8 years, in the Incheon...

We have been living in Korea for 8 years, in the Incheon area, meaning that Seoul and Suwon are about 1h drive. While Seoul is a 10-million city that is huge, Suwon has a true city feeling with a 'center' that just feels very city-like from a European perspective. That is why it's our favored place to go for shopping, a city walk, or a weekend trip escaping the otherwise never-ending work pressure. So many 'local' places with good food, which makes the city alive. The center feels 'historic' even with the main palace being a recently-build copy of what once was. So, we have been their many times, and will come in the future. Every season, the city has a different charm.

I went to Motgol market, Jidong market and Hwaseong fortress...

I went to Motgol market, Jidong market and Hwaseong fortress and all three were very nice, the markets were an authentic experience. When I visit historical places like the fortress I prefer to take a guided tour or at least read about it before but that visit was spontaneous so I mostly enjoyed the walk along the wall.

The place is great - very well located next to a very lively street, but still quiet. 30 min of a nice walking to the Suwon Fortress, or very well connected by bus. Bus station is around the corner. Well bedroom size, very clean, hot water and good pressure. We arrive before the check-in time, and the allowed us to enter anyway. Definitely, a very good value for money. There is a convenience store next to the hotel - which is always very helpful. And in this case - big towels are provided - which is not common in South Korea.

In the center of Suwon and quite near a subway station, this hotel is an excellent choice when you want to explore Suwon or just want to get away from touristy Seoul. Lots of restaurants around. Convenience store and a starbucks are located on the ground floor. Breakfast was good and offered lots of choices.

This second time, I stay here. Its so wonderful hotel, nearby everything. Like GS25 same building with hotel. Hwaseong Fortress walkable. Most important, If you watch Kdrama Lovely Runner. Then, Dono Hotel its perfect hotel to stay !! Really !!

Very easy to access the fortress walls and restaurants. Interesting to experience local life compared to staying in a hotel. We appreciated the kettle and fridge to have British tea with milk! It was fine for one night and peaceful.
