Wasn't a great fan of Gwangalli Beach, so moved around to Haeundae and was much happier. Close to everything, the beach is very clean, and the water was great for a swim. Busan has everything you would want for a beach holiday.

There is a fair walk/rail to each attraction - but they are worth it. A week or so to get the feel of the place is good. The nearby markets were stunning and we found some genuine traditional non-tourist markets where people did their weekly shopping.

Busan is much more relaxed that the Korean capital, but it still has great infrastructure and experiences for visitors. The city boasts some beautiful beaches along its extensive coastline, and there is often some event at one or the other of the beaches, such as the sand sculpture festival at Haeundae, the regular drone shows at Gwangalli, and the musical fountain at Dadaepo. The city offers some fun shopping locations, ranging from the cheaper to the more expensive end of the spectrum. Great shopping spots include Centum City and Lotte Mall Gwangbok, as well as local markets. Riding the Sky Capsule or the scenic train through Blue Line Park from Haeundae to Songjeong Beach is a lot of fun, but you do need to book online in advance as it gets sold out quickly. Musicals often come to Busan after they have finished their run in Seoul. There are some really nice theatres in Busan and a musical provides an entertaining night (or afternoon) out. Those were my highlights, but there is much more to experience in this great city. Really worth a visit!

Busan, South Korea's second-largest city, is renowned for its vibrant mix of urban and natural attractions, making it a must-visit destination. Here are some highlights and recommendations for experiencing Busan:
Beautiful Beaches (Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach)
Cultural and Historical Sites (Gamcheon Cultural Village, Busan Tower)
Overall, Busan is a city that should be on every traveler's itinerary when visiting South Korea, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and modern attractions.
Everything! The room was wonderfully spacious and delightful, clean and well maintained. The hotel location was superb with the Haeundae beach right outside the hotel! The railway wasn’t too far away although during our stay in Busan, we mainly took the buses - which was super convenient. Special mention to the Reception/Concierge staff who were so helpful throughout and even seamlessly booked a taxi for us that punctually arrived and brought us to the station. Amazing. Definitely a 5* Hotel through and through.
The best part of this hotel is the room size. It is humongous! Unbelievable. It is so big that it almost feels a bit empty. It had a desk with a tv and refrigerator, two chairs and a table, a couch and a bed. Because of the size of the room, the bed looked small.
The location is a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Beach. Very close to transportation and Blueline Park. A lot of restaurants in the area.
There was free parking and the staff helped us with using the car elevator. Quite an experience.
Nice staff, big room, comfortable bed. The water pressure in the shower is amazing! It is very close to Haeundae beach, but Busan is a big city so the Hotel can't be close to everywhere. Check which locations you are going and how to get there. Many restaurants/cafes nearby and there is a 24h 7-eleven right in front of the Hotel, which is very handy.
Good location. Walking distance to a number of places of interests and food. You can walk to Bupyeong, Gukje and Jagalchi markets. Also withing walking distance are 2 subway stations, Nampo and Jagalchi, and Busan Tower. There is also a direct bus, 1003, to Haeundae beach, 4mins walk to the bus stop from the hotel.
Excellent location overlooking the ocean and Haeundae Beach. Great service at hotel reception. Large spacious open plan family room, perfect for those travelling with children.
