Offering a spa center and fitness center, Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa is set in West Bay. Like healthy choices, love the pool table, staff are super friendly. From front desk , to Spa, in room dining and restaurant staff especially at Ave and Avecita. In fact we were out late one night and security on property were kind and welcoming. As were the valet guys.

Don't head into Georgetown at 5 on a weekday. Traffic is not the best and parking is even worse. The restaurants are excellent, but difficult to find parking. The beach and water are the best in the world. This can be a very slow and noneventful visit or you can find so much to do and keep you busy.
Wonderful island spot. Fun things to do with kids, and nice free beaches for everyone. We loved it! The submarine tour with Atlantis was over the top worth every cent we spent on it, for a non-snorkling/scuba family.
West bay is great area in between many things and some close by places as well important if walking ,the West Bay cafe ,awesome, and in town Hi Tide played music at Decker's was great and of course water clear everywhere, many water activities .My only disappointment after seeing a lot of the public beaches was the West bay beach was a bit trashy ,and construction trash as well .I think it is important to keep all beaches clean which will keep the water clean .It was the only one ,the others were perfect and great for snorkeling....and Paradise in George Town has great food and a reef right by it you can rent gear and snorkel right there...
Beach awesome, facility was used, bars on windows and door, no access through sliding glass door without worrying about security. No way to lock sliders from outside. Screen door did not work until 6 days into a 7 day stay and then screen was ripped from frame.
It’s at the end of seven mile beach, which is kind of nice that you’re not clustered into too much tourist traffic. You do need to walk, bike or rent a car to really see things. Car rental is the best way to see the island and most affordable. Taxis are too expensive. Best spots are the catch restaurant, snorkeling, is available from the resorts and if you want to jet ski for less check right out Maude your hotel. Charter fishing and stingray city are a great way to experience the water and nature.
The beach is small where we stayed due to erosion, but the water is amazing! We had good snorkeling at the beach and saw eagle rays, parrot fish, octopuses and lots of variety of fish. Coconut Joes and Stingers were good places to eat. If you want an excursion to Stingray City, use Captain Marvin’s! Sea Elements was good for the Bioluminescence bay trip. We drove to Hell but forgot to bring our passports to have them stamped. We rented a paddle board for 2 days which was worth the cost. Driving was easy, but you can get away with the shuttles they provide to the excursions and take a taxi to the grocery.
