The hotel is conveniently located near the airport—great for both our late-night arrival and early morning departure—but it is also in a charming walkable neighborhood just two blocks from the Mekong River and a 10-minute taxi ride to downtown. Our room was clean, comfortable, and classy. Even our standard room was a generous size with a comfortable bed, premium linens, quality bathroom fixtures, stylish crown moulding, and a large natural wooden desk that provided a warm touch of Laos. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional—even when we had to check in late and leave early. This was the perfect spot to start and end our stay in Vientiane with a bit of convenient exploration in between.

The manager and staff are great. Very helpful and nice. The grounds of the property are fantastic. The high tea is a nice touch. I cannot say enough nice things about this property. From the spacious room to the small touches, like cotton rounds and Q-tips to the Dyson hair dryer, every detail is well thought out.

La Seine Boutique Hotel was our last hotel in our last city we stayed in during our Laos adventure. This was the perfect choice to end our incredible vacation!   We had a minor scooter accident just days earlier while doing the Thakhek Loop. With road rash, bumps, cuts and bruises, we felt that our number one priority would be to stay in a hotel with a nice tub in it so we could soak and relax our bodies before our 19 hour flight home. My wife was thrilled to find La Seine had the exact type of room we were looking for on Booking.com and quickly booked it. The hotel’s location was perfect being right on the Mekong River and within walking distance of an amazing night market. I discovered an amazing “Green Bar” right next to the hotel that offered amazing drinks, good company and the good legal stuff I was missing from home! This also helped with the aches and pains from the accident. While the hotel’s location, amenities and such were outstanding, the TEAM that works at the hotel made our stay even better! We were treated like royalty the entire stay! I have to mention Mr. AKASH as being the main person who really went above and beyond to look after us for our entire stay! He personally reserved us the best table on the rooftop for our last dinner in Laos, booked any taxis we needed and ensured our drivers knew where to take us, booked a spa day for us (also much needed from our accident) and even found my one AirPod that I lost in the hotel room and sent it back to me in Canada!!! All of this treatment was superb and we will never forget it! The food at the hotel was amazing too. We had breakfast at the hotel each day! Eggs Benedict with Salmon Salsa, fresh fruit, cafe lattes to die for and looking after my wife’s gluten intolerance with ease! That final dinner we had on the rooftop was just as amazing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to treat themselves in Vientiane. My wife and I will definitely return one day soon! Thank you!
