This was an amazing experience. More than just accomodation - Sharli was also our personal tour guide while there, organising our day with helpful suggestions, transporting us around in his tuk tuk and explaining local sights history and culture. He was sensitive to our interests and took us to local temples, the Vedda centre, local lake paddle, swimming rock pool and more. A lovely genuine guy. The villa is v spacious and clean with a beautiful outlook to rice fields and mountains. The food is tasty and ample, prepared by his wife and mother. True local fare. Sharli arranged pick up from Udawalale and drop off at Ella, and even accompanied us, explaining sights along the way. This is amazing value for money! Not to be missed if you want to get off the beaten track in comfort and learn about Sri Lanka.

The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive, going above and beyond. They were generous with drinks and fruit from their garden and we even got a small gift. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They allowed us to check in early. The room was very clean and large, it even had a fridge in it. It was peaceful and quiet.

Everything It exceeded all our expectations the room was so cool. This place has only been open 7 months and he has plans to build self contained units above the current property. With only 3 rooms and a 6 bed apartment it's a lovely cozy place. It's very remote and so peaceful.

This is a sensational property in a wonderful location close to Gal Oya NP. Every single staff member were brilliant. Friendly, attentive, informative and nothing too much trouble . The swimming pool is an excellent way to finish off the afternoon, the food was incredible . Thank you all at Wild Glamping for a memorable stay

We had the most wonderful stay in Redstone cottage. It was by far our favourite hotel in our 3 week trip around Sri Lanka. The staff anticipated our every need, the chef cooked food we loved and every meal was a highlight. Sydney has made a little slice of paradise. The jungle on the doorstop, birds and wildlife really made this stay stand out. The staff are employed from a recently displaced tribe and syndey is passionate about the local area and the people. This really stands out. Anuradha was our guide throughout and his knowledge was next level. He took us up monkey mountain, around the local reservoir and on all our safaris. His wildlife and plant knowledge as well as his calm and likeable character made the whole stay magical. We would stay again in a heartbeat and if you are thinking of booking don't hesitate.

Absolutely everything about this place is amazing - from the staff, the rooms, pool and experiences on offer. The naturists are exceptional - our guides Lakshman and Sampath were so knowledgeable, kind and wonderful. It is truly a special gem of a place and our favourite place we stayed in Sri Lanka. We would love to come back!
