The owner were super nice and did as much as they could to make the guest happy. They can arrange safaries, tours, transportation etc. The room and bath room were spacious and nice. The food was great and a lot!!! (too much for us to finish all of it). That counts for breakfast and dinner. The swimming pool of about 12 meters long is fantastic and the water really nice. The view over the adjacient lake is also very nice and looking over the lake while sitting in the swimming pool is very relaxing. Just along the lake there are some trees full with big hanging fruit bats, which is also very nice. Small shops, atm's fruit stalls etc. Are with a few minutes walk. Very nearby there is a hot spring with shower an bathing facilities. Also really nice (This is not the kind of hot spring where can sit in hot pools and enjoy the hot water, but you can shower and trow hot water over yourself with buckets). Is is the perfect quiet place to stayed in Maduru Oya.
